We order at least 3 times a week and usually its great, however the level of customer service is something that really must be improved. Upon opening my salmon nigiri I was shocked to find a large vein in both pieces of the salmon. When we called the restaurant to inform them of this, they told us there was nothing they could do, and offered absolutely no further assistance, despite the high expense of our order.

I really love this restaurant, the food is absolutely amazing and the staff are prompt and efficient. We used to live close enough for delivery and used to order frequently and they always delivered quickly and the food was always perfect. We moved away but often did the 25 minute drive to collect food from here before we had our baby last year. We're looking forward to coming back soon and getting her hooked on their food!

Very good food and tasty. Price is alright. I've tried for the first time with friends onsite and I had a few deliveries. I would recommend the bento boxes as it comes with a bit of everything. Very nice Japanese in Cowley

My friends and I went to Sushi Corner on a Friday night at 7:30 and were surprised to find that we could get a table without a reservation. We were a group of 8 which was a bit too large for any of the tables, but in the end they managed to accommodate us. Our waitress was very friendly and managed the large table well, not forgetting any of the orders. I had vegetable spring rolls, spicy tuna roll, crispy duck roll, and split a salmon sashimi with one other person. All told it only cost me £20.50. I was more than full at the end. Pretty decent pricing for a sushi restaurant and the food was good. Not the best Sushi I have ever had, but I really enjoyed it and would recommend this place to anyone. Certainly some of the better Sushi in Oxford. Be warned though this place is really tiny. Maybe half a dozen tables total. You may not be as lucky as we were with getting a spot.

I must say the food quality is good and also the service when eating in the restaurant. But please, be aware that when ordering for delivery it can take way long for the food to arrive home. I've been waiting for it 2 hours after being calling them. When I ordered the food they confirmed it would take 45 minutes. After 40 minutes they have added 30 minutes more to the scheduled time. I called them at this time and they say that the drivers were on his way and that they will be arriving. As I said, 2 hours waiting. Not recommended for delivery

We ordered a takeaway and received stale, tasteless and completely unappealing food. Called to complain and were basically told by the manager that they didn't care! No refunds. The 'Chocolate pie' was essentially 2 american pancakes in a plastic packet, with Nutella in the middle (see photo).

meant to take daughter out for dinner since her college does not serve dinner on fri/sat. was not to find table in some other restaurant, so came here. this is a cheap place and size of portion is big. but i don't feel the food use high quality ingredients or materials. i don't like the taste either. okay for a quick mean, i guess. perhaps not a place if one want to really enjoy food.

The restaurant had one other couple upon arrival, with a young man with his feet up on the bench he was sat at, not nice. Two Japanese men failed to great us and continued with their Just Eat delivery orders and we waited for a waitress. The waitress tried hard, but was clearly not a waitress and didn't really seem to know what was going on. Mixed sashimi consisted of bass, scallop, clam, tuna, salmon and octopus. The tuna and salmon was of a very poor quality and tasteless. The same can be said of the scallop. The surf clam was gritty to the point of being inedible. Miso soup was powder , not paste based and was no better than a cup-a-soup. Tempura soft shell was far to heavy and a very poor tempura batter. Eel roll was chewy and the rice over cooked. A dragon roll looked great, but I didn't taste. Enough was enough and we paid the £58 bill and left after about 25 minutes. A one off visit.

Reliable, fast, and tasty! Whenever I get a sushi craving, this is where I come. Their best value option is definitely the bento box set. I particularly love their chicken katsu curry, and large sushi rolls.

While not the cheapest on Cowley Road, their bento boxes, at around £10, are an absolute steal - soup, rice, sushi and other things which will totally fill you up! Don't order anything else unless you intend to roll home! The quality is great too and the other items on the menu are terribly tempting....

Really good ramen soup (fantastic udons) and tasty sushi roll. However a bit over priced. Will surely go there again.

Sushi Corner is quite a small restaurant with only limited seating both inside and out. I came here for lunch on a Sunday and there was relaxing piano music playing in the background. It was reasonably busy with most tables occupied during the course of the time i was there. To start with I had seafood tempura, which came out piping hot and with a nice sweet sauce which was either plum or apricot in flavor. Next I had the Dark Dragon Roll which was really tasty. Was let down by the waitress being a bit slow in getting payment from me at the end - she was busy with another table who kept wanting more things (a chat, sauce, drinks) but it was a bit grating to have to wait for them to get their lives in order when I was ready to pay and go. Still, doesn't stop me warmly recommending this place!

I usually order takeaways from them. Love the avocado salmon skin sushi roll and teriyaki chicken bento. Sometimes I wait for a long time for the delivery. The price is reasonable and I recommend this restaurant.

We happened to be passing and from the outside, this restaurant looks like a takeaway but we were offered a table and had an excellent meal. Stunning food included the sushi (esp the Californian Roll) and a yummy katsu salad. The tempura was a bit of a disappointment as the batter was a little too heavy for my liking. Still a lovely meal and excellent service. Will be visiting again and trying some new dishes.

This restaurant was a HUGE disappointment. We ordered takeaway after seeing the positive reviews and could not believe the horrible service we received. The food took 2 hours to arrive and when it did, part of out order was missing! We called to explain this and were told 'new people' were working and there was nothing that could be done - manager was also 'too busy' to talk. Absolutely unacceptable and will never order from here again!

Such good sushi at this place. We've been here when it's busy and quiet, for lunch and dinner, for sushi and bento - wonderful every time. The Salmon Skin & Cucumber Sushi Rolls are AMAZING. The fish is always fresh, there's lots on the menu, the noodles are delicious, it's all brilliant value, and there are good veggie options.

To be fair though, I didn't eat in the restaurant. I had my food delivered, which is why I'm giving benefit of the doubt and rating 3 instead of 2. It took close to an hour and a half for it to be delivered despite the 45-60 minute estimate, and so my takoyaki was ice cold by the time I got it (it probably would have been good if it had been remotely warm). The quality of the fish used in the sushi was also questionable. The tuna was slimy and smelled really fishy (which sushi grade tuna should not smell like). The salmon was firmer and less 'buttery' than quality salmon should be, but it was acceptable in all the rolls (it was hard to eat the sashimi though). The eel was pretty good. I don't know if they use higher quality fish for customers in the restaurant, but at the very least I would not recommend getting delivery.

Great value for sushi especially in Oxford, and the sushi is fresh and tasty. Would recommend to anyone. The staff are very friendly if a little inattentive at times.
