Party of 4 adults and one child for a birthday. The scallop starter (x 2) were very average, at best! My squid starter was sliced so thinly I could hardly taste it and I had gone cold! My brother in law thought his crab salad was very tasty. We ordered a small portion of mac n cheese for our 3 year old but it was the weirdest tasting mac n cheese any of us have tasted and very salty and we were charged full price for it! The actual fish for main courses were all enjoyed but the side dish of fennel salad on my husbands fish didn't taste of fennel. I ordered the pork dish which was not the best and fatty with just one very thin small carrot and a sprinkling of kale. At £24 I was very disappointed and felt ripped off. On a positive note the staff were very attentive, informative and did look after us with the wine order and delicious oysters. At £90 per head this place was grossly overpriced for very very average food so I would not return or recommend.

In the Old Spitalfields Market is the Wright Brothers Restaurant. We were having a birthday celebration . Meanwhile we were waiting for our table we sat at the bar and had a delicious glass of Prosecco. We were guided to our table in a nice spot. The starters of oysters and crab cakes were really nice. Our food was exquisite and the desserts as well. A very tasty wine accompanied our dinner. The attentive waiters made our evening outing an enjoyable experience. We give the restaurant a rate of: Excellent.

Oysters are awesome. Try them all in sequence. Go for the ones that grew in two different bays. Joseph is a very good server also and knows a lot about the food and oysters. Very friendly. Try the fancy Chablis it's awesome. Whole staff was great and super accommodating. Felt very welcome. Next time in London will definitely come back.

Myself and my partner went here for dinner on Friday as we were in the area and fancied something light and delicious for dinner. They didn't actually have any space for us, however the manager was able to sort something out and squeeze us on the bar, which actually worked out better for us, as we were able to watch the chefs work! Amazing staff, very friendly and informative. We had never tried oysters before and they gave us a taster on the house, which was a nice touch. The food was beautiful, we had 4 starters to share and 1 main to share, the only thing slightly average was the salmon and pea panna cotta, however everything else was amazing. My partner is not a massive fish lover and he ate everything! The bill came to £79 for two, with 1 glass of wine, 2 beers and 5 food dishes. I think that is very reasonable. I love the London Bridge Wright Brothers, and the Shoreditch branch did not disappoint at all!

It was planned by my father and me to go to Wright-Brothers for an Oystersnack when being there in Spitalfields market on the 21st September 2017. From 3 -6 pm everyday all Oysters of all kinds and locations where they have been caught are for 1 British Pound each. Normally oysters are 3 pound or more per piece but the happy hour offers a great deal, that you shouldn't miss ! In a creative industrial-maritime unique atmosphere you can enjoy your oysters, they are served on a elegant silver tablet, already opened , and with 2 different Tabasco sauces and vinegar. It was superbly delicious, it was really a taste experience, which you cannot get anywhere else so good plus for that price and adding to this in such a noble, but cool atmosphere ! Don`miss this folks ! :)

Having booked here for a family meal I was somewhat disappointed with the ambience, from the prices I was expecting a nicely adorned restaurant not booth and bar seating and an outdoor area covered with plastic and the food to be honest though presented beautifully was distinctly average. However the one real plus for me was the staff, they provided very attentive service and were very helpful, they are a real credit.

This restaurant is exceptional for fresh delicious seafood which is not cooked and soaked in butter. The platters are an amazing choice for three people and at a great price. The Oysters are unbelievable, as per other people's reviews on this restaurant which i completely agree with when i could of also had the oysters as an appetizer, main and desert!

Sweet delicious and reasonable. I would have been happy just to continue eating them, but we had them as an appetizer. The rest of our meal was very good. Certainly want to try the other locations as well.

Met my family here for dinner. We had an oyster platter and it was really great. We then went on to have a fish dinner which was good but pretty expensive. Service was great, restaurant has a really good ambiance. But you are looking at over £250-300 in total with wine for dinner for a family of four. It's good but they're pretty expensive for what you get. I would probably go back for lunch but not dinner.

Have to say that the seafood here is fabulous, as is the setting in the old market. Some service hiccups, but very willing and helpful staff. Go for the house seafood platter, awesome.

Wee it came to the oysters they were better than advertised. Fresh crisp tasty oysters from UK , Irish and French waters. Very yummy!! I then settled into the fish and chips (haddock) with mushy peas. Delicious!! Attentive service rounded this out. We will be back

Stumbled upon Wright Brothers while exploring Spittalfields, and decided to stay for dinner. We got a great seat at the bar in front of the oyster shucker and had some of the finest, freshest oysters I've had in years accompanied by a delicious gin martini. This was followed by an excellent bowl of mussels meunière and a bottle of crisp Chablis...you'd struggle to find a finer meal on a warm summers eve!! Will definitely be back!!

After a mornings shopping we stopped for drinks at Wright Brothers. We shouldn't have looked at the bar menu- we were soon ordering! Oysters were delicious & they even run a happy hour (3-6) on them.. £1 each! I'd also recommend the Beef Tataki. However, top of the bill was service & Mark was excellent - attentive, helpful & knowledgable. If you're in East London Spitalfields, stop by.

Never had such attentive service the waitress really knew what she was talking about which helped us as we were clueless ! We had the Full House platter which was an experience to behold. The concept was brilliant because we got stuck in as a family trying new things. I've honestly never enjoyed a piece of cod as much as the beautiful dish I had here. It was a melt in the mouth experience. loved the fact that we sat outside but it wasn't outside outside so we didn't freeze in the lovely British weather. Thank you very much for an excellent farewell meal for my brother who is jet setting back to New Zealand for another inevitable amount of time!

Have been here twice in the last month, first in business and then with family. It's a proper fish restaurant and clearly makes an effort with how it sources its seafood. Plenty of nice seafood dishes, but oddly I had a bit of an upset tummy after both visits. Service on first occasion a tad too obsequious - polite and efficient is fine, fawning and excessive commentary is just irritating.

I just dunno, wasn't entirely convinced with the spot. To be fair the service was amazing and the staff were friendly but my partner wasn't entirely with ambiance.

Nice and friendly waitress, food was very good. Expense is the only reason this is not 5* but I suppose the prices are typical of the area
