Cleverly designed pub with lots of different areas over three floors so if not busy you can get a comfy seat and enjoy. In a very busy area of London but quiet mid Saturday afternoon. Large selection of drinks and a big bar plenty of staff around. Good for a few drinks so fun, didn't try any food so not sure how this is!

Thursday night it is a good night to go and drink some beers or cocktails. Like the place, the music, and the location. The atmosphere was nice and it is a good place to go after work.

Really love this pub for the decor, fascinating place to explore. Very busy at the bar, although the staff are helpful when you get to them. The food is a mixed bag - the onion rings we ordered were great, but the baked Camembert we ordered was congealed like it had just been microwaved.

I think my review of this is so high because we went on a Monday night so it wasn't very busy but I can imagine, with the central location it was in, that this pub would be overcrowded on a weekend! Anyway, the service was good and the drinks were nice. It was a nice atmosphere but I would not like to be here on a busy night!

Managed to get a seat in one of the cosy alcove areas on a busy Friday night with a great view of the copper piping and bar. Large selection of beers-so many to chose and live music to add. Loved the atmosphere . Even if you are not a beer drinker this place is worth checking out just for the decoration.

Had a couple of beers here with friends, it's always buzzing, a great atmosphere, and to be honest compared to most other pubs in Covent Garden it's very good value. We will return time and time again. Don't change a thing. Thank you Porterhouse.

What a great place for a beer in a very unusual venue set over many different levels with a buzzing atmosphere. Beers they brew themselves with great flavour and not too badly priced, given it's location. A really good outdoor area is appreciated on a hot afternoon. One of my favourite bars, well worth finding.

One of the must places to visit when in London. The drink range is fantastic and caters for all tastes. Staff very friendly and more than willing to chat about the drink range. Very impressed.

The porterhouse is a big place for having drinks! We tried Oyster stout and Oyster porter, berry cider and Früli - strawberry beer. All drinks were good. Girls may like the strawberry beer. Downstairs is a romantic gloaming atmosphere. It is better to order at the bar tender, since it is faster.

I've been coming to Porterhouse in London for a while but was introduced to it having been to the original (& still best!) Porterhouse in Temple Bar Dublin way back in the 90's, which is a 'must do' if you're over there. London Porthouse has all the 'of favourites Porterhouse has become famous & you'll have a great time coming here so def a recommendation if you haven't tried Porthouse yrpet. However when comparing the two, there's something about the Dublin venue which has the edge...could be like the black stuff, this successful bar concept just doesn't travel as well outside of Dublin

My husband and I visited the Porterhouse in Dublin while staying in Temple Bar. We randomly stumbled across their second location in London. This place is great. So many different bars, the beers are different depending on which floor you are on, good live music on Fridays. Very busy on Friday's after work. Outside is packed, inside we were able to find a nice area not so packed. One of our favorite pubs we visited.

From your first appearance this restaurant don't seem such a bad idea, but on closer inspection I would not let my dog eat in this place, very dirty and the entrance smell like a toilet pot is leaking, my worst experience ever. After sitting outside for 20 mins nobody attended to us, when I ask the barmen if they serving food he was so arrogant and obnoxious, that he said if I can't wait I can leave. As I walked out I saw a mice running at the doorway, glad I did not order food at this filthy establishment, should be closed down by the health inspector.
