There is the happy hour before 7pm, all cocktails are 5 pounds, the quality is high and "the earl of elderflower" is amazing! it have the taste of flowers and is really fresh and not strong, I could drink absolutely too many of it

We went on Saturday and had booked ahead. We just got some stools with no backs, and the restaurant was super busy. Food was average to poor - we got the gambas, calamares, aubergine and veggie sharing platter. Didn't eat much as it wasn't great. We weren't that hungry though so maybe it would've been better if we had proper appetites.

Visited with a friend after escaping the rain! Nice chilled location with a good selection of food and drinks. It was happy hour and so cocktails were only £5 which is a rare find in Brixton. Service was a little slow but overall a good experience, will be back to try the bottomless brunch!

Didn't book in advance on a Saturday night but still managed to get a table for 4 pretty sharpish which was excellent. Loved the range of interesting cocktails and the menu was divine. I have to say after the dinner, I will be losing sleep without the sauteed mushrooms in a fino sauce recipe! Service was wonderful with even the waitress suggesting where we could go out after - would come back in a heartbeat.

Came here with children in the early evening and enjoyed happy hour. Had the sharing platters and they were so delicious we had to order more. Cocktail discount until 7pm. Ask for off the chocolate con churros - you won't be disappointed!

I love Brixton Village. Its so laid back and cool. Food was very nice and drinks were good too, I only had piscos. Lol Make sure that you call in advance and make a reservation though it can get quite busy.

The atmosphere was good and the service friendly. The Spanish beer was relatively cheap but it was not special. They offered an alternative to the beer they did not have in stock.

My husband and I were wandering through Brixton market trying to decide on brunch when we happened upon this little beauty. Set in an old market building, the eclectic furnishings and decor made us feel immediately comforted! The menu is very good value for money and also intriguing; spicy Bloody Maria with a Spain in a Bap for me and an El Bacon Butty for my husband. What emerged from the kitchen was a taste explosion; chorizo sausage, spanish ham and morcilla de Burgos with a perfectly cooked tomato and fried egg on sourdough. Absolutely stunning. I would like to say washed down with the Bloody Maria but that drink needed respect; chilli and bloodshot vodka are a match made for the brave! Really looking forward to going here again. Maybe with time for the bottomless Prosecco brunch!

Bravas and calamari? The worst I have ever tried. Period. Although the temptation with Spanish food is that it can't go wrong this is not true. The bravas were smudgy, weird flavour and although the sauce was ok the dish simply was no good. The calamari was tasteless and rubbery so not much there to say. The place is nice and the service was ok so it's a shame, they clearly need some help in the kitchen.

If we had just dropped by for a beer then we might have been OK. Staff were nice enough and clearly massively overburdened. Everything else was a waste of time. We had flat drinks, followed by lack of service for the best part of half an hour, then waiting 40 mins for some stodgy bread, horrendously overdone calamari, and 5 slices of anchovie that cost ~£1 each. All that after asking staff several times for service. Utterly ridiculous, and it didnt even taste nice after all that! I didnt complain about the drink (though in retrospect probably should have done) though I was about to cancel food order and go when it turned up. Definitely an avoid, especially given lots of good food, and far cheaper, available just 1 min away on the same street.

I attended a birthday brunch at Seven at Brixton and found the service and food overall very disappointing. The service was pretty inattentive and it was not a good sign when we had to go up to the bar to ask the wait staff to take our first drink order. When the food arrived it was ok (nothing to write home about). I ordered the Spanish breakfast which was meant to come with coffee or tea but this was never provided. Visit was finished with a sour faced waitress who really needs a lesson in customer service. There are some wonderful restaurants in the market and I'm sorry to say this isn't one of them.

Booked a table here for valentines with no bother. The atmosphere was really nice in there, this was helped by a brilliant playlist of music throughout our evening here. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious with good portion size. Upstairs was a cool collection of art for sale which was a nice touch. Definitely come back again!

I've been a couple of times now, once for dinner and drinks and the latest for bunch and coffee and the food and drinks are very good. I had a the chorizo breakfast sandwich and it was delicious paired with a flat white. The waitress noticed my friend had given me a card and present and asked if it was my birthday, to which we replied it was nearly both our birthdays and we were meeting to celebrate them early, and she brought us each a free glass of prosecco which I thought was really nice. We stayed ordering drinks for about two hours and were never rushed. My only complaint is that it got really cold! The heat seemed to be on a timer, but when it went off, as there's not a proper door to keep the heat in we froze a bit until they turned it back on. If you go when it;s busy this isn't a problem but as it was around 11 and not busy, they should have kept the heat on. If you want good cheap eats and reasonably priced drinks, it's a good place to go.

I booked Seven at Brixton for my birthday on Saturday and we had the best time. I didn't know when I booked but we had our own private room upstairs which was perfect as there were about 20 of us. The staff were really friendly and made sure everyone's drinks were topped up. Sometimes you can find with bottomless brunch that they take their time to top up drinks but this wasn't the case here. The food was really nice and great value for £25 per person. Would definitely recommend - we had so much fun! Thank you!

Great place for breakfast, although only small has a lot of charm, food and drinks tasted fantastic and where well presented. Only downside was the service was a bit slow on the day (maybe short staffed?) Still was an enjoyable visit and will definitely be returning, perfect for a leisurely brunch.

For the money we spent you would expect a smile, or at least an acknowledgement of your presence. We sat and watched the waitresses stack menus, faff about and play with scrabble pieces until after twenty minutes I caught the attention of one and enquired that perhaps we had misunderstood and this was a restaurant where you ordered at the bar. No this was not the case, no apology and we finally got some drinks...and then some food - although not all! We had eaten our way through the bulk of our order and were having our plates cleared away until I reminded the waitress that we were still missing two dishes. Unfortunately, these were the carbs we had ordered to accompany the meal and they turned up on their own 25 minutes after everything else - and yes, I do understand tapas but I have never experienced this. Again, no apology and one of the orders was actually still wrong. Save yourself the bother and go a few doors down to the amazing Meze bar where the food is better and you are not inconveniencing the staff. It wasn't busy, the staff weren't rushed and I honestly (as a waitress myself) was so shocked by the disparaging attitude of the workforce that I will never go again. On a brighter note Seven At Brixton has actually prompted my first ever TripAdvisor review because I just couldn't let it go. Thanks Seven.
