I love this place! The beers are awesome so much choice! I never liked beer until I came in here. I have ate in here numerous times always good food and the best place for mussels. look out for the specials board their dailys are great. I have always enjoyed their food. The staff are fabulous so friendly. A gem of a pub in London. One complaint please sort out the toilets!

We had lunch here and the quality of food and the service were exceptional !!!!! I didn't get the waitresses name but she was friendly and quick and went out of her way to help us get served as quick as possible as she knew we had limited time to eat as we were enroute to the Theatre. I am a very fussy eater and just wanted a Cheese and Ham wrap which wasn't on the menu but she phoned down to the kitchen and they made one up for me and it was absolutely delicious The Americano Coffees were to die for when next in London we will definitely return.

Popped in here for lunch; 6 of us. Good cheerful service; the food was promptly prepared and served. No complaints.

Arranged to go to Lowlander for a joint birthday celebration with 8 of us and had a really enjoyable night out with a very good choice of Belgian beers and decent selection of food available too. I had the wild boar and chorizo burger with sweet potato fries and thought it was very good. Everyone else enjoyed their food and the beers too! Great service from the very friendly staff too! Well worth a visit and will be sure to return again!

I have eaten here twice now on visits to London. Once in the evening with a friend when it was really busy and once at lunchtime with my family (which includes 2 teenage boys). Both times the service was excellent and so was the food and the selection of beer. Highly recommend for all ages!

Waited over an hour for ordered food. The servers appeared to not care that we wanted to order a beer and any service we received, we had to work to get the attention of someone to help us. One server appeared to not understand our orders and required the help of another to understand what we were asking (in English). Took food I was not finished with and ignored us when we called to him to bring it back. Very disappointing. Will not go back or recommend. The bathroom smelled heavily of animal urine as well.

We had dinner there the other night and found the food to be excellent the service was great as well, the selection of beer was something you must try. Great atmosphere as well, not cheap but well worth trying, now I have said how good the place was the only downside is we had to pay service charge of 12.5% which we did not know about, but in saying that we would go back.

If you love the best beer in the world - Belgian beer - the place to go in London is Lowlanders on Drury Lane, miles better than Belgos. Terrific choice of beer in a great space free of intrusive music and with great staff - efficient, friendly and interesting to talk to. Belgos on Kingsway went down the pan a few years back when some bright spark decided to change it all and ruined the place. Lowlanders on the other hand is as great as ever. If you go there and don't agree, I'm a Dutchman.

Friendly, welcoming staff here always make for an enjoyable and relaxed visit in good atmosphere and Belgian-style ambience. Excellent selection of beers chosen knowledgeably and wisely. A great treat to be given a cellar tour.

Been visiting the lowlander for a while now. Service is always on point and the beer the selection is second to none. Not many places in London offer the amount of lambic beers that this place has to offer.

My husband does love his beer, and how could he fail to be thrilled with such an extensive range, there must have been about 100 or more. The hard part was choosing... suggested pairings are most helpful, especially with the wines for me. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals there, and the waiters are charming. Portions are just about right, not too huge, although I was served more potatoes than I would eat in a week!! A visit to London is a rare treat, and was the perfect end to a perfect day!

We went there to taste a Belgium food and their famous beers. We weren't disappointed!! huge selections of Belgium ales!!! We were introduced to a world of Trappists beers by a well knowledge friendly, staff. Food was very good, we had moules mariniere, very fair portion! We will recommend this place to our friends!!

We popped in after the theatre on a Thursday night for a pint and ended up with a bite to eat as the menu looked so tempting! Good selection of reasonably priced beers and our waiter was fab. I recommend the Lowlander Meat Board - the bitterballen and bratwurst were super yummy ! We shared it with some double Dutch fries and it was perfect for two. For its location in Covent Garden ( by the Travelodge ) you would expect it to be touristy but it felt more of a ' local' with a laid back vibe with small groups of people sharing food , beers and smiles 😀

Been here many times - alone and with friends, both great experiences. The food is amazing! My personal favourite is the hotdog and fries! The drink? Delirium Red every time I but have tried many others. The food is exceptional and filling. The bar staff are on the ball and willing to meet your every need. Our favourite is Lucas - who really makes a personal connection with us all. Thank you for an amazing venue, staff, food and only few places in London selling Delirium Red!

First off, aziza was so nice and let me sample a beer before i chose which one i wanted and gave me an excellent recommendation for a blonde beer, i was super impressed with how nice the bar staff were. It really makes a huge difference when you're used to grumpy bartenders. Great selection of beers, will definitely be back soon! Thanks Aziza!!!

Visited here after seeing it was highly rated on here and have to say it was very disappointing. Firstly let me say they have a fantastic choice of Belgian beer. Secondly, I think it is rather extortionate that they are charging £7 a pint for beers that are £3 in Belgium. Appreciate there are transport costs but it is not a million miles away! The beer tasted good at least! I ordered fish and chips which arrived well presented but quite small to say it was £14. The fish tasted nice but unfortunately I found several bones - surely the chef should be able to fillet fish as a minimum or if not it should be advised you will have to complete the task for him when ordering? Maybe I ordered the wrong thing as saw other people order burgers and they look great. I fear this place is primed to take advantage of tourists visiting nearby Covent Garden and is priced accordingly, a bit of a shame really. Be warned 12.5% (USA gratuity rate) is added to the bill making it even more expensive.

We went here for dinner a Friday night just because we were in the neighborhood and we were hungry. Wouldn't say it was spectacular place. It felt like a very touristy place, very crowded and not very cozy. It took a long time until they served us. The goat cheese salad I ordered was pretty good though.
