The pizza was delicious and so were the drinks and beers we had here. Also, the street was busy and 100% London-ish. I would gladly recommend this place for anyone in search for a more hipster-y bar in East London.

Buzzing bar located on Kingsland road, a must have for drinks with friends. Happy hour was 5pm - 8pm with great deals! Great bar staff and we were a huge fan of the Blackberry and Rhubarb daiquiri!

Went there a couple of times already and I really love it here. A really nice place, can be crowded and you have to squeeze between people to get a seat BUT if you're lucky, you can spend a really cool evening ! The waiters are super friendly (so is the "guard" at the door !) and cocktails are delicious ! Yes, it is a bit expensive BUT you can bring your own food when the kitchen is closed (after 11) AND THE MUSIC IS SO GOOD ! Always appreciated my late nights there :)

The 'waiters' have no idea what they are doing! We reserved but he did not know they take reservations and one came shouting about an order they made a mistake with and instead of being reasonably nice he came at us with a nasty attitude like we stole from them! What on earth!!! Thank God the pizza was delicious. But seriously, they should reconsider how they talk to people!

Really cool bar. Friendly and attentive staff. Funky music. Wicked cocktail list and amazing pizza. I went plain and simple with a margarita, tasty dough, nice and thin with just the right amount of topping. They also run a few other cool bars like The Old Shoreditch Station and The Victoria in Dalston. Loads of cool art exhibitions across the venues too, check the website for dates.

It's a good bar. The front windows open up onto the street which is nice on a hot night, and the cocktail menu was interesting enough. They also serve pizza, but we were heading for a large meal at Bird next door so we just stayed for drinks. Quick word of warning - don't do as we did and watch the Walking Dead and then visit the downstairs toilets here! They are in a very dark cavern!

Quirky bar with a nice selection of gin and whiskey. Unusual decor, good music, i'd definitely return.

Friendly bar in Shoreditch with cool atmosphere and lots of seats, make it a nice place to have a drink . Music is good and bar staff are very nice. Make sure you go on the Happy Hour to get a cheap pizza, they are very good too !

Ask the bartender for a caipirinha and you get a big stare back. So after explaining what I wanted I find myself listening to some 80s laser-dance-trance pop. It is perhaps worth going there for the crowd as there is a hostel next door, but that also has its own bar

Unconventional looking bar with a very Unbarlike frontage. Lots of nice pictures, friendly and funky atmosphere, good coffee, and absolutely awesome pizza! It was full on party in my mouth. It's just as well I was by myself cos I was speechless! I nearly went "full homer"

Shallow customer service, they all inexplicably have attitude. I keep going there though, as the place is in the heart of Hoxton and it is really well connected as well as cool (especially the basement, when accessible), with both seats inside and outside for smokers. Drinks are good and the buzz is great.

Although I go to Shoreditch a lot, this is the first time i noticed this place and I am glad I did. The atmosphere was good and the drinks were nice. The bar has exposed brick walls and a big glass front where you can watch the scene outside should you wish. It would be a good place to have drinks with a group of friends, couples or even a date if you need somewhere cool to go.

This is how i would imagine an artsy Shoreditch bar would look and feel like, from the name of the bar to its image and atmosphere. There are not many seats available. Cocktails are one of a kind and quite delicious.

I really enjoyed the pizza from this place. Cool and casual vibe from the bar. Would definitely come again (but more for the pizza than anything else haha)

I went here to see an animation residency by 12foot6 and before we went down to the basement to view the animation, we had some cocktails & food. we hadn't intended to but the food looked pretty nice, the atmosphere was great, music was good & there was the bonus of 2 cocktails for one! We loved it there & ended up staying for most of the evening. Didn't find it pretentious at all, unlike a previous review. I thought the artwork was humorous too.

Came here on a dull Sunday afternoon with friends for some food. We ordered pizza and some of the arrancini balls- delicious! The art work is pretty cool on the walls and the music playing was exactly what we needed to accompany our sore heads. I've been here previously during the evening, and really enjoyed their cocktails. Pretty standard pricing for London, but with a decent amount of alcohol and not too much ice. The crowd that comes here is exactly what you would expect in an East London bar... plenty of hot beardy men!

Didn't like this place, the art looked cheap and not thought of properly. Customers who go try too hard to be cool. Bar staff all have attitude. Their cocktails are good though, fairly good value too. I prefer the basement where tho can sit with small groups etc.. However I wouldn't recommend going here on weekends!

Me and my friend were in London and looking for somewhere to hace beers a friday night, we met some guy who told us this was a nice bar and we dicided to try it out. We are glad we did! We really liked the atmosphere. The staff was nice, the prices good and the music great! It was crowded when we were there and we met some really nice people. This is a great place for having drinks with friends, I recommend it!
