We passed through the bar tonight and the bar man refused to serve us having seen my partner come to the bar and dismissed us. Management was called over only to say that ' he did not have time for this' when the bar man did not deny that he refused to serve us due to race. Absolutely disgusting vile staff and I would not recommend going if you are with people of different races. I wish I would of called the police and had this dealt with as hate crime. I would not recommend this shack of a bar to anyone

Busy club with upstairs bar and downstairs dancefloor. Not anonymous like so many mega clubs, this place is small, friendly and a lot of fun. Great crowd, even better music, worth a visit.

3 guys (gay) turned up on Saturday with the intention of having a good night - Approach the door staff who said it was guest list only ---> Did not even ask if we was on the guest list and was letting in other people. We had all had 2 pints in a pub down the road prior so were not drunk! Ended up having an enjoyable night at Birthdays instead

A regular haunt of mine, always lovely staff, always lovely food. Extremely relaxed vibe but that's what makes it. Also the non gender-specific loos are a winner!

I went to Dalston Superstore with my partner and friend who have both been there before, and had just as great a time as they told me I would. The atmosphere was great; very welcoming and relaxed, but still fun. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and we had seen one member of staff at the alternative pride event we'd been at. We ordered food and a pitcher of Pimms, both of which came to us quickly and were delicious. The staff quickly checked the ingredients when asked about an allergen, and told us a pleasantly short, simple list. I can definitely recommend the veggie tacos! When I went downstairs to use the toilet, the word 'unisex' shone above the door in neon. This is such a positive thing, and sadly so rare to see, it was the icing on the cake. And then I saw the murals! The entire toilet area is covered with stylised people in sex positions, all smiling. The art on the wall is great, but the giggle this mural gave me seemed worth it's own mention. All in all, I intend to go back a lot and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

As a San Franciscan queer and trans person who is always looking for the queer nights and bars that attract a mixed or different sort of queer crowd (trans, lesbian, gay, punks, goths, kinksters, queerdos, etc) from your typical gay bar of gay-bots, I was very happy to have been recommended this club. I believe most weekend nights they are open past 1 am, and I happened to be there on Easter, which had a very festive crowd of people in bunny-inspired attire. The bar staff were friendly, full bar and their cocktail list looked delicious, though I stuck to beer because I was on a tight budget and still wanting to try every local craft brew. Apparently they also serve food but I did not partake. I read other reviews and expected a line to get in so I arrived early, but even when I left around midnight there was no line. There is a basement with a DJ and satellite bar, but as I was there early the crowd was all upstairs and nobody in the basement. I preferred the music upstairs anyway, and honestly I think music blasting downstairs was way too loud, I would need earplugs. I was staying in the East End so it wasn't too far for me by bus, but I suppose it may be a little far from the usual tourist attractions, so I recommend this place if you have some time to venture out and if this sort of club makes you feel at home.
