I love ramen! Visited all, if not most of the ramen places around London. Visited on a weekday and it was fairly busy and the atmosphere was great. It had been a while since I last visited Bone Daddies and I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, which was a bit of a let down. The ramen was firm but the broth was lacking in flavour and overpowered by too much salt. I remember the broth used to be really flavoursome and you could taste the flavours of the pork bones coming through. The portions haven't changed too much but I'm afraid the quality of the broth was not what it was before. Perhaps, I caught them on a bad day but will certainly return to try again. The service was very good throughout with attentive servers.

I had been to this particular bone daddies several times before and always had a great meal. I ordered the tofu tantanmen 3 which is what I usually order as I am a vegetarian. I was horrified to find a large chunk of chicken in my ramen. The waitress was so casual about this and just said she would replace it. I decided not to have it as I was so put off. She deducted the price of that ramen off our bill but offered no explanation for why there was chicken in it and no apology. Very disappointed.

Chanced upon this plan while I was googling for ramen in London. Service was good and quick. However, the ramen was just average. Had the tonkotsu for dinner. Pork slices were too cooked so it gets broken easily. Doubt I will be heading back.

The best Ramen in my opinion is the curry ramen, without chilli oil, its amazing, the starters I liked the chiken pop corn, very tasty, just missing more deserts opitions in my opinion

Love this place - we have been a bunch of times! The kushi katsu is great as is the curry ramen! Asahi on tap and cool music makes this place a regular for us! We will be back many times!

We arrived, a girl who looked about 10 asked us what we needed, we said "table for 4" and she vanished and didn't return. A second staff member appeared, but we said we were already being served. So she vanished. It took a 3rd member of staff to actually find us a table. It then took ages for us to make the orders, the waitress was sullen and unfriendly. And it took ages for the food and drinks to arrive. To their credit, the food was awesome. But then the bill came. It states there is a discretionary 12.5% service charge. But they didn't ask us if we wanted to pay it (we didn't), and the card payment device didn't offer me the option. So we ended up paying it. We told the woman who operated it we were a bit let down by the service, but she simply said "They were having one of these confusing days" and didn't so much as offer a couple of quid off. Not happy.

Right. The two stars are just cause I'm trying to be objective. I arrived and was going to wait for my friend. I asked if I could sit and they wouldn't let me, not even for 2 minutes, cause they "don't let people sit until everyone is there". So I had to wait outside. Then the tonkotsu ramen arrived. Pretty, pretty bad. Bad noodles, the broth which is supposed to be milky rich and thick (due to the bones!) was almost flavourless. No seaweed in the broth. Pork belly had the same flavourless taste. Eggs were fine, creamy and marinated. But the cherry on top is the imposition of a 12.5% service fee on the bill (surprise surprise!) that did not even say "optional". And only when I inquired about it the waitress begrudgingly proposed to take it off. We still tipped but the point is - I want to be free to tip as much as I want (if I want). PLUS, how can such poor service and food deserve any tip. To the people queuing out of the restaurant...go round the corner there's plenty of excellent ramen places in soho. Bone daddies is not one of them.

Had the veggie mushroom ramen, super yummy and perfectly filling. Great flavours and very fresh! The place is very simple and has a small menu. Condiments to make your ramen to your liking. If you are veggie/vegan, they can cater to you and are very happy to do so. Will be back !

What a great find. Lovely staff helped with explaining the menu. Great service. Food was excellent, plentiful and really tasty. We sat outside as it was a lovely day but I went inside which was full of character with a view of the cooking area. The waitress explained the preparation and what was prepared on the wood stove. Highly recommend.

So happy to find an Asian restaurant that can say that everything on the menu is MSG free. Great vibe. Really tasty food. Happy, helpful & friendly service. Only negative was customers smoking in the outside area which permeated into restaurant.

We were on a stopover in London and my wife was craving some ramen. We had been here during a previous stop in London and remembered the excellent ramen. We left satisfied. This time we also tried the chicken wings. I liked them, my wife wasn't a big fan. Overall a pretty good ramen spot.

We had the same disappointing experience here as others have noted below, the ramen tastes like its generic and out of a packet or pre-prepared gloop that is far. too. much. salt and/or MSG by the cupful added. Also, as I see others have noted, they even add their own tip to customer's bills which is extremely rude. As any gastronomy course will teach you, anywhere that shows discourtesy to add their own tip to bills is an automatic one-star and MUST be avoided. The customer has the right to tip the usual 10% as they see fit, regardless of whether the charge is 'discretionary'. Food this bad already takes the biscuit but be warned they'd rather put those concerns aside in order to concentrate more on charging you their 12.5% 'service charge'. Maybe if the management showed more gratitude and courtesy towards their customers who are choosing to eat at their establishment and sort the back of house out they may be worth visiting. Avoid.

As a Vegetarian is hard to find a place with veggie based ramen and tasty! It's one of my favourite places for Ramen in London with 3 veggie options that will melt your mouth! Go ahead and try it! Bon appetite :)

I'm a ramen snob having lived in Japan for a bit - this is the real deal. So delicious they'll supply you with a plastic bib for all the slurping you're going to do. If you're a ramen lover - do not miss this place. Groovy music and super friendly staff too!

Went here for my partners birthday. The seating is shared seating which is fine and there is window facing bar seating which really works for a traditional ramen bar. For starter we had the Korean chicken wings. Omg they were on another level. The tangy sauce was so mouth watering I can't stop thinking about it and the chicken so tender. I could have eaten a hundred of them but had to make do sharing three! Talk had kani tonkotsu ramen for main which included soft shell crab and pork. Crab is one of my favourite meats and this did not disappoint. The ramen itself was very tasty and there was communal garlic and chilli which enhanced the flavour further reasonable price and great atmosphere. I can't wait to see those wings again!

Excellent dinner during our weekend in London. Rich broth, good noodles and selection of other bites to go alongside. If you're a ramen fan - go here!

Went back to this ramen serving restaurant after couple of years. Loved the starter Korean Fried Chicken Wings. The ramens we chose - chicken, pork and sea food continues to remain exceptional- different flavours especially with the chicken and pork broth. Too filling ! Had a late lunch so had a skip dinner :) !

Staff are friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is upbeat. Seating is on stools. The food is fine but very mediocre for the price you have to pay. Over £50 for two very average bowls of ramen + some side dishes + a green tea. We went on Saturday lunch time and the place was only 1/3 full. If you've eaten ramen in Japan you're always going to be a bit disappointed (both on cost and taste!), but this place is just trading on past reputation. Plenty of other nicer better value places to go. Sorry but I can't recommend this.
