As a Bath resident of over 25 years, I have visited many of the various cafes and restaurants on offer, and this is one of my and my family's favourites. The staff are lovely and friendly in a professional way. Our latest visit last weekend involved a lovely lunch for the four of us. My husband had the special omelette, packed with yummy ingredients. My younger son rates their vegetarian breakfasts the best in town. The goats cheese ciabatta is delicious, packed with lovely goats cheese (not bitter like you get in some other places) and roasted peppers. All round good honest food cooked well. Thank you.

Excellent smoked salmon & scrambled egg for him and a full English for me, with freshly squeezed orange juice and really nice toast. Only small negative was the decaf coffee which wasn't a very good choice, although the one with caffeine was very nice. (The lunch menu looked good...)

We stumbled upon Kingsmead Kitchen as we were looking for a light lunch and were keen to support a local business. The setting was lovely and rustic / homely and the food was lovely. I had a lamb pitta which was delicious and my husband had the chicken and bacon melt which looked amazing and was proper doorstop bread. For anyone visiting Bath this is a must

We were looking for a place for lunch and we liked the look of the menu. We sat outside in the sun in October watching the world go by. My husband really enjoyed his sausage and egg sandwich I had chicken melted cheese. The staff were really friendly and attentive. My husband would go back when we return to Bath and I would have the breakfast as they looked so good.

Came back again so it's time to review. Fast service. My omelet was good. I like that it comes with a little salad on the side. Makes it brunch like and less heavy of a breakfast. The flat white coffee was good too. Boyfriend likes it so I'm sure we will be back on our next visit to bath

Really tasty lunch and quick service. Good service and friendly staff. My partner had the sirloin ciabatta and I had the baked eggs in a tomato sauce with sour bread both of which were lush.

This place provides a delicious cooked brekkie freshly cooked with good ingredients. Yes it may be a few quid extra than a cheap greasy spoon but you pay for what you get which is quality. Great coffee, nice atmosphere in a good location. Read many neg reviews obvs people don't know what it takes to run a business but happy to criticise. Don't change and keep up good work as we will be back

We went to Bath for the day and wanted a nice breakfast so we chose this place. What a treat. The place was small and quirky but also had outdoor seating. The breakfast, well the title of this review really doesn't do it justice. We both had the standard full English with a round of toast, orange juice and I had tea and hubby had coffee. It was absolutely delicious. Really well cooked and looked lovely on the plate. We had bacon, egg, sausage (which wasn't the usual spicy stuff that seems to pass for sausage these days), mushrooms, beans and a half griddled tomato. The toast was really thick cut and had a lovely crust. It was nice and hot and we didn't have to wait long at all. The staff were cheerful and friendly. We are going back to Bath for the Christmas markets but this cafe is on the list first. Really well worth the £25.05 that it cost.

I had high hopes when visiting Kingsmead Kitchen but wasn't too impressed. The customer service was good but the food wasn't what I expected it to be. I ordered the pulled pork burger which was mediocre. However, my friend ordered the Steak sandwich which was AMAZING. I didn't feel like there was much variety but if I ever want a good sandwhich I will be sure to head over. I was just disappointed with the variety more than anything.

Not the best breakfast we had in bath on our mini break Staff was friendly. Coffee was good freshly make OJ was lovely BUT the kingsmead breakfast was over microwaved so that the sausages where like cupboard , egg where hard was not asked how we would like them. Beacon had more fat then meat. It made the subway breakfast like good

we called at around 2.00pm on a Sunday. We didn't want a large meal and the food was great. My wife and I had the Beetroot and Goats cheese tartlet with new potatoes and a salad garnish. it was fantastic. My mother had the chicken and bacon toasted sandwich which also had cheese. The coffee was also very good. Service very efficient and friendly. This is a busy rustic cafe and we will be back

Called in here for a light lunch and were not disappointed. Staff were very welcoming and the menu imaginative and reasonably priced as was the wine. The food arrived in a good time and was delicious. Very quirky atmospheric and don't expect luxurious tables and chairs

Had lunch here with a friend, had a wide range of food and well priced considering it's bath! Slightly off the beaten track so you avoid the tourists. We order a goats cheese ciabatta and lamb pitter. We had smoothies to drink and very quick service! Will definitely return!

We stopped here on a recommendation from our hotel. Two cracking breakfasts washed down with nice fresh orange juice and really good coffee. Whilst sat outside in a lovely quiet square. They got my order slightly wrong but apologised quickly and fixed it right away - just what is needed.

We met family here for brunch. The menu offered something for everyone, all freshly prepared. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would recommend this as a great place to meet family or friends.
