We went there to escape the Blizzard where we stayed and where the food was very disappointing. Rather noisy, but for sure the best Fondue in Town! Service not always charming but efficient. Rather varied menu for a val d'Isère. will go back, hopping to find more délicatesse in the service.

Very good food and service. Can only recommend! Kind of fusion cooking between Europe, Amerixa and Asia, fine meat with inspired vegetables. As starter we shared a Salade Nicoise with half cooked tuna, which was excellent as everything else

Booked for 2 but given a nice table for 4. The Entrecote steak was excellent as was the service. There is a busy bar at the front of the restaurant and it is located in the centre

Returned after waiting inside at the door for 15 minutes without being even noticed by the several staff who went past , let alone a chance to ask for a table . If they cant show basic courtesy to a guest what's the point in dining . Would not return again .

Amazing food with a fun alpine vibe! Would highly recommend for drinks or dinner.. catering for large groups & couples easily.

Had a great meal for two here. The service was excellent, attentive yet not over the top. Loads of atmosphere and a great buzz. Don't be put off from the front where it looks like a ski bums bar, the tables at the back were perfect for dining and we were happy to leave the table and join the throng at the front of the restaurant after dinner where there was live music. Its expensive for sure, the dearest place we ate in all Val but it was the best by far. We loved it.

This restaurant/bar is frequented by everyone and enjoyed by all. You can have a small snack or a first class dinner. The food is locally sourced and delicious and the restaurants staff are delightful. Selected musicians play and the atmosphere is one of fun and laughter after a day on the piste.

Oysters fresh and cooking a step above usual mountain fare. Decent house wines and friendly staff. Need to book or be lucky.

Booked here on recommendation and we were not disappointed. A very busy Wednesday evening, but the service was prompt and attentive. Delicious food, which included Iberique Pork and fantastic fondue. Great wines and fantastic atmosphere, made it a fun evening.

We found this place via TripAdvisor. Great bar area, live music and somewhere to sit after dinner The food is interesting some French with an oriental twist. The service was very quick. The service in 2 shifts 7.30 & 9.30. We were the first & I think they rush u a little. We had just finished our starters and the main course arrived and our plates had not been cleared. The fondue was great but was only served with bits of bread & a green leaf salad drowned in dressing! Sadly there was no raw veg! You could only order new potatoes at €6! I think for €26 per person that is a bit mean. My main was pork which was good but very salty. Husband had a huge veal chop which he said was the best thing EVER! We stayed after to listen to the music & have a drink. Great atmosphere

This restaurant is hands down the best place to eat bar none. The room ,staff and food are all first class which is why you must book in advance. There is a really nice bar and some evenings there is live music. We went twice and enjoyed the ever changing menu both times. If you enjoy really good food Don't miss it . ECD London

Went here for lunch with a couple of friends. The food was good but the menu was on the small side particularly when they'd sold out of two of the main options. Two of our party shared the fondue and the recommended wine to accompany it was delicious. The service was friendly and it was a great place to while away a few hours when the weather was too inclement to ski.

Booked this place for food after going for some drinks the evening before. Really nice venue with a slightly older crowd, good selection of drinks and live music in the bar area. The food was excellent and wine choice also good. It's not cheap but you don't mind paying extra for quality. Will definitely be going again.....bring on 2018!!

La Barraque has fun atmosphere delicious food, the fondue is the best in Val by far. But all other dish are good. The quality of the meat and ingredients are top. The service is attentive and efficient. After dinner you can have a drink at the bar with live music. La Barraque is where the locals go and the owner is always there making sure all is running well. It is his attention to details and welcoming style that make La Barraque the place to be.

Drinks with friends. A lot of locals are among us and that is what makes this place so exciting! We did not taste the local food, but I hear it´s great! Next time :-) Located in the very centre of Val, you can´t miss it. And you must not. Often with live music and the fuzz that comes with that atmosphere. Go and get amused!

We thought that we would mark the date on which TM served the section 50 notice with a fab dinner at the "shack". It did not disappoint. We all had three courses... meat here is fantastic. Not cheap but worthwhile. Great choice of wines.

La Baraque is a lively restaurant situated in the centre of Val D I'sere. It is very French with a short menu of local dishes and a few specials which change daily. The food is outstanding and the service is very friendly. The clientele are mainly French and it has a very lively bar with live music. I would highly recommend the place if you like a lot of buzz and excellent local food.
