Incredible view! The red wine might have been slightly cold, but the glacier views were appearing to cool down. When you go to the Panoramique is not really for the Michelin guide remarks, nevertheless it was a nice meal (it was my first blanchete) despite the difficulties to offer all the chances you may find in other one. All accompanied with a very young, helpful and nice team of waiters. All together is offering the purely excellent staying, thanks to all of them.

Fabulous hike for 2.5 Hrs up from Chamonix but no warm welcome when we got there . No shortage of staff but slow service. Had to wait for everything, menus, water, wine ... no other choice on the mountain

The personal was not servicemainded at all. Unrude and very nonchalant. Not one smile just tired faces.

Saca a beleza e gostosura.

Piatti ottimi e presentati in modo originale. Porzioni poco abbondanti.

We had lunch here twice during our stay in Chamonix (once via train up the mountain and once via hike). The food was really great, one of our best meals in France so far. (We had cod fish, beef cheek, veal, and the cheesecake and gingerbread desserts-all fantastic) On a warm day, it was so nice to sit on the terrace with a chilled rose and take in the views. For the great food and views, I'd give it 5 stars, except that on our second day we ordered the same meal as the day before and it was different (no delicious vegetables to balance the meal on our second visit) but still the same price and no mention of anything missing. What we did get was great, but it was just a little inconsistent. The staff accommodated us both days but I could tell they were very busy and many people were turned away for not having a reservation. Since we didn't come in high season, I'd recommend a reservation if you visit in summer. Service is a little slow, but that's typical for Europe. There is only one toilette so the line can get a little long for that. Overall, I'd definitely recommend! Sometimes they have a few tables set aside for people who just want a drink with the view, but during busy times there likely isn't seating for that so you'd have to order a meal to get seating.

Stopped for a lunch at this fabulous view point. Had vegetable soup and my partner had butternut squash and nuts. Not a cheap lunch but a great view if the weather is decent. See the glacier before global warming destroys them. Good service

My friends and I decided to take the train up to the Glacier, we we arrive we were surprised to find an excellent restaurant. It is advisable to make a reservation before arriving as I got the sense that the place get completely packed for lunch. We were lucky that we arrived early and was able to get a table for lunch, at about 12:30 the place had no more seats available. The views are spectacular and it is worth the visit. The food was of very high standard and value for your money. I found the food to be very good with a selection for everyone. This place is best suited if the weather is clear in order to get the optimal view. The is a definite recommendation and a must. Will be going again.

Called up on cold day, was unable to use the bottom viewing area without buying food or drink. €18 for beer, tea and coke. That was a rip off. Never again

In winter, it's better to make reservation, otherwise the small size of the room may not accommodate you. We were finally lucky to be seated at the bar. It's a pity that during our lunch half the the reserved tables remained empty! Foods are local, fresh and correctly prepared. You can enjoy a marvelous view the the ice of see. Staff is gentle and efficient.
