With beautiful hotel room views of the Eiffel tower or the Tuileries Garden, and several museums in walking distance, this hotel is a dream. Have a meal at La Terrace - not only is the view amazing, but their Club Sandwich is a serious treat, as well!

Great location, lovely semi-outside bar and gorgeous room with city views. Only hiccup was there was no hot water all day, typically on my birthday. We were informed of this upon check-in, but not prior to booking.

Love the location and the surroundings of the hotel and always love staying here on my visits to Paris. But the check in this time left me soured. Darya the lady who was checking us in said our rooms are not ready at 4 pm, despite regular check in time being 3pm and even refused to call the housekeeping to find and out check when will the room be ready. Saying please just wait. Needless to say it started off my Paris trip on a very sour note. Really need better management on the front desk!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband while passing through Paris for Bastille Day. The location was great, right in the heart of the city. There is a quaint restaurant I the courtyard of the lobby hat was magical. This lived up to Westin stands (a little nicer then most American Westins). The only disappointment was our room was not ready upon our arrival, even though we provided the time.

We are permanent Westin Gold members. Used points to book room for 5 nights. Unfortunately our five night stay co-incided with five day Space Satillite European conference. We never informed of this when we booked . We could not enjoy the hotel amenities as the single eating lounge and the waiting lounge were completely full. No morning coffee, no casual reading spot , no evening cocktail or wine was available. Could not even find a seat to rest after long day touring. Room upgrades not available for Gold members and conference meeting rooms were scattered around our hotel floor Single restaurant in morning was set up as buffet for the conference. We ate once and seemed to irritate our waitress by not being part of the conference buffet even though we were paying al la carte prices. Not a pleasant breakfast. Worse part was the concierge recommendation for dinner our first night in town. He called and made reservation at Flottes. A terrible tourist trap. Check out the Yelp reviews. They are very accurate in regards to the treatment of tourists and being referred by concierges. Totally unacceptable recommendation from Westin Concierge. I must consider now using AirB&B rather than continue using traditional hotels moving forward.

Great location to start your Parisian adventures! Close to the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, and the Arc de Triomphe to name a few. Great service with friendly and attentive staff. The suites were roomy and our view of the Eiffel Tower was stunning.

I'm a Gold SPG member and was initially deterred from staying at an American-brand hotel but this was possibly the best choice I made for the trip. I celebrated my 40th birthday in Paris with a friend and booked 5 nights using points. The room was ready shortly after the smooth check-in process. To kill some time they recommended we grab a bite and hot cocoa at Angelina's across the street and were not disappointed. We were upgraded to a Deluxe room and it was very spacious. I think there were two Queen beds in there and tons of space to move around and lay out our bags. I've never seen so much space in a European hotel room! I immediately unpacked and loved the closet/changing room area. Felt like I was at home. They also provided a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and macarons for my birthday along with a hand written card! The view of the neighbooring buildings was beautiful. I cant' say enough good things about the Heavenly beds. They are so soft and relaxing and consistent. Each night we had turn-down service with chocolates and several times ordered a bucket of ice from room service for our champagne. The concierge was incredibly helpful - booking us last-minute reservations at two places which were delicious! They also held bags for us and gave us other recommendations. The bathroom was spacious and western-style with all the familiar toiletries. The only sad part is that although my return flight to Florida was canceled due to a hurricane I had to stay in Paris 3 extra nights and I had to leave the Westin and stay somewhere else. I just couldn't afford it and ran out of points! So I write this review from across the city in another hotel and all I can think of is my Westin slippers and the wonderful stay I had there! I'm seriously depressed I'm not staying there any longer. Thank you Westin for making my birthday unforgettable!

A beautiful hotel in the most prime location. Steps from the Louvre and from Place Vendome. They have a very courteous staff and a lovely bar! My one and only sort of negative comment is that the rooms need a little updating.

Very easy 5 minute walk to two metro stations in a very safe area. It is directly across the street from the Tuileries Garden and walkable to the Louve. Our package included a free breakfast buffet each morning which was excellent. One of the servers offered to have an omelet of our choice made, the buffet had a mix of American and French favorites - all different cheeses, breads, along with the standard cereals, oatmeal. Check-In process was fairly quick, room was ready in the early afternoon. There were three of us and we had a king bed and a pull out couch. The room was a decent size for Europe and we didn't feel cramped. The bathroom was beautiful. All was clean and the housekeeping staff were terrific. I would suggest requesting a room that does not overlook the courtyard. The courtyard has a restaurant which stays open late and gets very loud with the windows open (even closed). Many nights we were up with this noise until midnight at least. The restaurant is pricey at the hotel - there are so many places nearby to eat. Take a walk and explore all the Trattoria's - we ate at several and the food was terrific. If you are looking for a central location in Paris this is it.

Although we have visited Paris several times and usually stay at a boutique hotel, being an SPG member we decided to try the Westin and were not disappointed. The lobby and surrounding shops are very nicely decorated. Our room faced onto a courtyard with tasteful furnishings, adequate space and good A/C, but it was the service we received that takes this from being a good venue to a great one. We arrived mid morning and they accommodated us after only a couple of hours with our room made ready. Despite being a large hotel, service was thorough and personal from the front desk, guest services and bellmen. The concierge staff were outstanding assisting with everything from recommendations on restaurants to locating rush replacements on a late Sunday afternoon for a few damaged personal items (can't thank them enough!). Hotel is well situated within walking distance to many of the major Paris attractions. Beautiful courtyard bar and although service here was distracted and very slow paced, the surroundings made up for it. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

This is my favourite hotel in Paris! Near to city. Hotel is really lovely, really nice staff who can speak english. Breakfast is absolutely worth for every penny! Gym is small but still ok. The view is pretty nice!

I used my SPG nights credit to stay here. We were given a choice to stay in a regular room or if we wait for an hour or 2, the possibility to stay in a room with a balcony with a view of the Tuileries Garden and Eiffel Tower beyond. We opted to wait and was not disappointed. The room was small and in an attic but my sister and I are petite and did not mind the sloped ceiling. We felt the room situated added to the charm and sense of being in Paris. The business center near reception was convenient for printing boarding passes. The service from reception, concierge to housekeeping was impeccable. We did not dine in the hotel because we were on a budget and there were cheaper restaurant choices around the hotel's neighborhood. We ate in Le Souffle Restaurant next block, a convenient walk to and from the hotel. I usually stay in the St. Germain area but the Westin location is a good option as well, especially for first time visitors. The Louvre, Opera, Tuileries Garden, Angelina Cafe and Metro are all walking distance form the hotel.

Our family has stayed at the Westin Vendome twice. Both stays exceeded our expectations, so we are looking forward to returning for our third stay in a few weeks! Traveling with two children, I found accommodations to be challenging in Paris. Many boutique hotels had a strict two-person-per-room policy (regardless of the age of the children) and no adjoining room options, so a single parent with two young children could simply not stay. Luckily, we found our Parisian home-away-from-home at the Westin Vendome. During the first stay, our room was a studio-style suite which had a king bed and very comfortable pull-out sofa, a separate tub and shower, and a lovely mini terrace. On our second stay, we were initially brought to a two-room suite on the top floor. While we typically prefer upper floors, the rooms on the top floor here felt a bit cramped due to the lower ceilings, and limited light from the dormered windows felt a bit insufficient when paired with the few lamp options in the room. Also, this two-room suite actually felt quite a bit smaller than the studio style suite. If you have a choice of a one-room studio suite or two-room suite, take the studio! Beyond the room, we found the staff very accommodating to children. Medhi at Guest Relations is extremely gracious and has worked each time to make sure we are comfortable. SPG Platinum members enjoy a generous buffet breakfast. During our 10-day stay, we got to know several of the waitstaff at First, and Luc was particularly kind to my children. He knew that my son loved the donuts, and made sure all varieties were replenished each time we came to breakfast. The location cannot be beat! The Tuileries Garden playground is right across the street from the hotel, and it was a great way for the kids to get out their energy at the start of the day or to wear themselves out before returning to the hotel for the evening. We prefer to explore the city on foot, and most attractions were within walking distance. The central location also made the Westin a convenient stop during the day for breaks between destinations. Subway stops are also nearby. Last spring, I visited Paris without the children and thought I would upgrade to the five-star Prince de Galles Hotel. Let me tell you, it was no upgrade! SPG platinum recognition, suite upgrade, location, and breakfast did not equal the Westin Vendome. We can't wait to return!

Stayed two nights in mid August. The hotel is lovely and in a great location for seeing the major sights in Paris, largely on foot. The rooms are compact but nicely furnished, at least the one we stayed in was. The staff was pleasant and efficient and offered help with a smile for information about where to go to eat, places to visit, etc. The included breakfast inner package was excellent - plenty of choices - options always kept replenished and a nice setting. I'd stay again.

My wife and I stayed at the Westin Vendome and were blown away with the hospitality of the hotel. Of course the hotel itself was amazing, with beautiful rooms, lovely decor, and a fantastic location in the city, but it was the customer service that made our stay! Everyone from the doormen to the concierge to the guest relations and management were extremely kind, helpful, and accommodating. The General Manager even went out of his way to provide us with a gift as it was our honeymoon! My wife and I both HIGHLY recommend the Westin Vendome - it is a guaranteed great stay!!

We are spg platinum, and were looking for nights credit during our August visit to Paris. After reading many scathing TripAdvisor reviews, we were hesitant to choose the Westin, and were hoping the location trumped the property's deficiencies. Overall, we were pleased with our experience and would choose the Westin for future Paris sejours. We arrived at the hotel at 11am exhausted and needing a nap. We were assured that we would be placed on a "priority" list, and texted when the room was ready. At 2:30pm, while my husband was napping in the lobby, they finally texted with an available room. We were "upgraded" to a junior suite. Buyers beware, this particular version had no view, and felt like it was in the attic. The shower was ridiculous with a 45 degree ceiling slope. My 6'2" husband could not stand up. I understand the limitations of the building, but this is unacceptable in my option. Additionally, the room showed its wear and tear and is due for an upgrade (duct tape on carpet seams, and power numerous power strips). We would have preferred a non-attic lower category room over this junior suite. The Westin did recognize our platinum status, and had a welcome amenity of fruit, wine, and a fauchon gift set waiting in the room. Besides the aging attic room, we were pleased with our stay. The concierge was accommodating and made the restaurant reservations I requested. The breakfast was delicious every morning. We had several drinks in the renovated courtyard, which is beautiful and seemed to attract guests and Parisians alike. The location cannot be beat and is walkable to much that the city has to offer. The Westin is a decent and affordable SPG option, and we will be back.

I upgraded based on the hotel's promised Eiffel View. I find that if I squeeze myself behind the nightstand and hug the corner wall (being careful not to trip over multiple electric cords), there is indeed an Eiffel view!? Otherwise the room is a bit musty with badly scratched furniture. Staff are pleasant and location is good.

Excellent hotel, friendly helpful staff and unbeatable location near the Louvre for tourist sights. Only a few quirks kept it from 5 stars as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. The quirks that were a problem for me, first, no in-room coffee service available and even Starbucks was a hike. Unfortunately, I need coffee the very first thing. I don't like to get dressed to get it and I want it right away. Even outside the hotel, there was a dearth of coffee shops. Second, the hair dryer was a cheap in-the-wall weak version that was useless for styling. Most hotels have a nice hair dryer in a closet in the room that has adequate voltage to style hair. This was a great disappointment since I have very long hair that needs heat to look like anything. Last, due to the summer holiday, the main dining room didn't serve dinner and the options are otherwise very limited. Of course, the good thing about this is that we discovered some wonderful local bistros and restaurants. Quirks aside, we loved the location as it was convenient to all. The bed was comfortable and a robe and slippers were available for use. We will definitely stay here again!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Westin Vendome. The location and views of the Eiffel Tower make up for the fact that the rooms and bathrooms could do with a major overhaul. We stay here because we are SPG Gold and our kids love the Jardin Tuileries across the stree It's convenient for upscale shopping and a short cab for all major tourist attractions. Restaurants are nice and there are also a lot of eating options close by.
