The courtyard is perfect for a romantic, summer dinner. Try the Costes brothers' specialty dish - "tartare aller/retour" - and have a French Love cocktail or two during your stay!

Great place to grab lunch when running around shopping in Place Vendôme, Rue Saint Honore. Excellent food! But if you really want to see what happens at night in Parisian style, Hotel Costes is a fantastic place to come for dinner. Be sure to dress stylish and fashion forward😎

I've stayed in this hotel a couple of times. Not the best but the location is good and never had a problem. I tried to enter the bar on a Friday night with a friend, a male friend, this is important. The doorman didn't allow us in, saying they don't allow TWO men into the bar arguing it was full. They said that was their rule, and the hotel rule and Mr. Costes rule. They said I also could not come in even if I came with two ladies because they had already seen me arrive alone with a male friend. We were properly dressed in business attire. We're both executives. My friend and I are not gay, but we asked them what happens if a gay couple tries to enter, two men together. One of the door men said they would allow them in if they knew they were gay and the other said they wouldn't allow them in. Pretty discriminatory behavior from the hotel and MR. COSTES and his staff. I asked to speak to the hotel manager, first one of the door men said he was in charge of the hotel, oh my! finally he brought me to the front desk where an older man basically shrugged and said he had nothing to say, except what the doorman commanded and handed me a card to put a complaint. I guess in this hotel the bouncer has more power than the front desk manager. Anyways, I'm never staying here again, never recommending, and I suggest you stay in the Mandarin Oriental hotel a couple of meters down the road where the service is impeccable and the hotel is much nicer and newer. Thanks MR. COSTES for your discriminatory rules, badly trained staff and homophobic stance.

I didn't eat or stay at the hotel. But I did have several drinks and they cost me a lot. I travel the world and go to many of the best venues in the world. And even so, these drinks were $$$$$. 25-50 euro a drink. That being said, very sexy crowd. Beautiful space. Definitely worth popping in when you are in Paris.

This was my first time dining here and now with experience of the place I'd suggest specifying you want a table on the terrace when booking. We were put in a corridor at the edge of the terrace (so not quite in the dark and cosy rooms either) and unable to change the table despite being unhappy with the feel of it. The hostesses were certainly chosen for looks not personality - they look and act like girls on a night out, standing around chatting to each other in mini dresses, while barely acknowledging diners. It took us a long time to get served and hostesses refused to help us with either switching tables or finding a waiter to serve us (as the table wasn't well covered). I'm used to 'Parisian' attitudes and speak French, and was still surprised by the utter lack of concern for customer happiness in a hotel like Costes. The lack of concern and attention really spoilt the experience for us. The food was fine but unadventurous - I had king crab salad to start and the lobster pasta for main which were both delicious and my partner had Le Tigre (Asian-spiced steak). The food was expensive but fine for a special occasion, and the wine list was decent. It was just the service which was a let down. The people-watching however was a lot of fun (the upside of the corridor table after all)!

Classic restaurant in the hart of Paris with inside outside terrace. Very famous place to be for the happy few. Food is prepared to perfection, presentation is elegant and high end! This is a must whenever you are in Paris. Reservations recommended. Enjoy the worldclass music and atmosphere. It is unique. We love it. Pricerange €€€-€€€€. Quality above quantity.

Have eaten here many times when in Paris on a Saturday lunch. Brought my boys and sat in the courtyard. Just superb and super stylish! Great food, great people watching with a well thought out decor. Wished they played the Hotel Costes music in the background......just lovely

They hate Americans here. My wife and I were extremely polite and well dressed throughout our time at Costes but the staff are extremely rude if you are American. They do not want American business so don't give it to them. You probably only should go here if you speak French. Worst service I have ever experienced throughout many 4 and 5 star hotels around the world.

We had a late lunch at the very cozy hotel coste restaurant. However we weren't blown away with the overpriced menu for simple pasta dish and chicken. Go for a drink or one coffe to enjoy the atmosphere but I wouldn't recommend to eat any of the overpriced and simple menu. We enjoy great food and we do pay but poor and small dishes for 48€ each is little too much.

Ate here last Sunday night. The ambiance was first class, the service friendly and professional and the food delicious. It is not cheap, costing about E200.00 for food and another E150 for drinks (with tips), but it's no more than you would expect for a Restuarant of this caliber on Paris's right bank in that area. It is a truly great dining experience and one not to be missed.

Great location in the heart of Paris. I was told it was French but it is really fusion - with strong Asian influence. Menu is diverse and will carter for all tastes. Disappointed by the maitre d's attitude. Antiquated reservation system. Hand written and could not find our reservation which was confirmed for the patio. Did nothing to fix the issue! Take it or leave it attitude. Considering that the patio had plenty of availability from when we arrived to when we left it was surprising pretending to be overbooked on a Saturday night. The place also had a fair bit of availability inside. Being the ambassador of the restaurant expect much better service and attentiveness to clients. This was the only shortfall! Otherwise service was outstanding; friendly; and attentive. Food was fresh and well prepared. The location is special and worth a visit even if it is just for drinks at the bar (which is probably the best thing to do if you want to check the place out).

This is not a hotel to kick back and relax. It's about putting on your red-soled heels and best dress. And be ready for some fun. The rooms are dark and one must like or better even love flower wallpapers to appreciate. The whole hotel is scented by some rich flowery air & perfumes. The restaurant with its stylish waiters and glamourous hustle & bustle builds the center piece of this hotel. A lovely surprise is the pool, which albeit dark is always empty and a good size. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Been around for many years but keeping up the quality and hype without any hick-uos, this hotel is a safe bet for that 'Parisian experience'.

i can't understand why a unique place like Costes has this kind of ranking in Trip Advisor. The Costes is a journey into Parisian bohemia. It sports more french people than tourists, the scenic decoration by Jacques Garcia hasn't aged a bit, everything as an aura of mystery and chic decadence. Yes it is expensive, yes you can't see anything but still it is the place with more beautiful people of all Paris. Have i mentioned that all the restaurant employees look like aspiring models?

4th visit Boutique style decor with great flagrance and dito music, the service however is an experience in style over substance: beautiful waitresses/waiters shriding along the restaurant as if it were their personal catwalk... don't ask what's in your cocktail however. Stutter and silence.

The Pinnacle of Parisian opulence. This really is one of the best hotels in the city, the rooms are what i like to call "old school Paris" so don't expect anytime modern. Its a luxury boutique Parisian hotel with opulent rooms and exceptional service. Try and dine and relax in the courtyard if you can. The pool area is also a must. Anyone who is anyone comes here to Stay/dine, and drink. Massive celeb Hotspot.

Located bang in the middle of the high end shopping street of Rue Saint Honore so expected high end prices. Didn't disappoint on that score. Corporate expense guests so also suitably impressed with the opulent surroundings. Very nice - if pricey - food & excellent choice of drinks. Extremely busy on a Sunday night so great buzz. Couple of let downs - the service however was a lesson in style over substance - let's say some things got lost in translation just like one of our group's meals. When asked, the waitress blamed us for ordering a meal to share (which we didn't) - the missing meal eventually arrived after the others had finished theirs which was rather poor. Restaurant is also located around an open air courtyard which is lovely. Sadly the very strong smell of cigarette smoke also permeated throughout our meal (we were all non-smokers) which was somewhat off-putting. It actually appeared to get worse as the night went on. Glad to have had the chance to experience the evening but really could have been so much better.

Beautiful place for a dinner for couple or friends, amazing vibe, really good service. Not too many tourists in there mostly fancy, modern very nice locals. Make sure you make a reservation otherwise almost impossible to get in. Ando be ready for at least 200-300€ bill but 1000000% worth the price in any way.

Excellent bar. Moody, great decor, great music, great drinks, beautiful people...what more could you ask for. We liked it so much we frequented this place for after dinner drinks. The staff was friendly, talkative and accomodating.
