    We had a romantic dinner and had such an amazing experience. The staff is professional, kind, speaks great English. The place is designed beautifully (although the inner room is a bit too hot). The food is spectacular - we had the filet de boeuf, the foie gras and the corsican veal (part of the specials). For dessert we had the chocolate cake because we felt like you can't be at an Alain Ducasse restaurant and not have chocolate! Overall amazing and highly recommended.

    This old bistro which has been taken over by Alain Ducaisse disappointed for the second time.2 couples shared 2 entrees and two plats, a glass of champagne each, a bottle of wine and 2 cognacs. The entrees, escargot and foie gras were delicious. One of the main plats, the tete de veau , fatty but delectable. But the duck with chestnuts was unrecognizably overcooked. The wine was very slow to arrive-halfway through the meal. The side room where we were seated was way too crowded and stuffy. It is a beautiful old Bistro. Il you do Come ask to be seated in The main room or upstairs ( à bit more formal) and shareThe dishes as they are large and rich.

    The service was pleasant and the menu offered a decent choice. Good traditional cooking with fresh ingredients and just right seasoning. I ordered the set lunch. The portions were generous. I had a very tender lamb shank with savory sauce. The only thing I'd like was more green vegetables as accompaniment which there wasn't.My friends' dishes, rabbit and trout filet were equally tasty. Aside from the food, they have a very good but pricey wine list. I do recommend this restaurant, though it's not cheap. We paid 75€ each, 1 bottle of wine for 3.

    Amazing meal! Started off with the lobster salad! One complete lobster contained with the salad, absolutely delicious! Then ate the steak with gratin dauphinois! Cooked to perfection, the sauce adding a final touch to the exquisite flavour of the plate. Finish off with the nougat glacé, the best that I had for years! They also have an extensive wine list to compliment such an exquisite dinner. We had a Chablis 1er cru and we were not disappointed! Pricey but worth every penny!

    We expected something special here and were left wanting. Menu was extremely limited with very little choice. Calf head dish included large lumps of inedible fat and fillet steak was ordered blue but arrived medium (disappointing for a Brit in a French restaurant). Could be much better with a little more attention to detail.

    This is a classic. A warm bistrot atmosphere, excellent service. Six of us enjoyed another superb lunch here. Not as expensive as suggested by some, particularly considering its Michelin star status. We'll be back. Again.

    My partner and I really enjoyed our recent dinner at Benoit. He had the firs gras, I had the salmon. For our mains we both had the filet which was perfect. We were both so full we didn’t opt for a pudding. I would say this was good value for money but we ordered a half bottle of red for 40 Euro but we instead served a half bottle that was 120 Euro (I've never paid 120E for a full bottle, let alone a half bottle)! Shame on us for not noticing until we got home and it was too late. I would still recommend Benoit but perhaps check your bill twice before you pay!

    I had dinner several times before and after Alain Ducasse took over this restaurant . The quality of the food is acceptable . The restaurant is an attraction for foreigners especially americans . The waiters are attentive and have a good behaviour regarding the foreign clients who do not speak french . Classic french courses . It is a pitty they do not serve wine on pichet or carafe .

    Wonderful establishment with old world charms! We had a wonderful dinner here on our last night in Paris. We had champagne, shared an appetizer, 2 entrees and a platter of fromage. Everything came out to about 200 euros, pretty reasonable for a 1michelin star restaurant. We skipped out on dessert because we were so full but they still brought out fresh baked madelines and even gave us a bag of treats to take home.

    We had a mix up on a reservation at another restaurant and called Benoit on a whim to see if they could fit us in. They were so accommodating! We went to multiple Michelin star restaurants while in France, so eating was top of our priorities. Benoit was one of our very favorite meals. The wait staff was suberb and helped us so much since the menu isn't easy for English speakers! The ox tongue/fois gras was our favorite thing of the night. Would highly recommend!

    I went to Benoit to have a lunch and took their specal offer for the day. It was composed of three parts. The main dish was stake and it would literally melt in your mouth. I have no remarks about food.It was just perfect. What about the service, it also was quite good. Servers were very attentive and respectful. The manage to keep you in a spotlght, though you don't feel watched there whch is very good for me. The only thing which would like to mention as a little minus is their English. They surely work on that very much but to be a perfect place language skills must be improved. All in all, it was a very good experiance and I would probably visit it again.

    Over crowded and noisy place and not very impressive traditional cuisine. The food is still good but with the price we are paying I think we might have plenty appealing choices.

    This was the perfect place for a birthday celebration in the city of Paris. Operated by Alain Ducasse, everything about this experience indicated a place operating at the highest levels. The menu offered the French classics (snails, foie gras) as well as Ducasse's own artistry. Service was perfect, with stacks of style, in surroundings quintessentially French. And an unexpected special birthday treat dessert capped off an unforgettable dining experience for the three of us. Advance booking is essential to avoid disappointment.

    The Matre'd can asset fairly quickly do you have any idea of authentic French bistro food or simply read an online review to visit and cross off your list. Over the years the staff have become friends even only being there 2-3 times a year. Why? Because I respect, try to speak French and ask how they are at each greeting. No idea of French are headed to the back room. If you have knowledge and respect of true bistro you will have a great experience of cozy French family food and the vin to match. True authentic French, The Best!!!

    To be clear: the service here is an easy five stars, it's the food that drags it down. We had our hearts set on trying a Michelin star restaurant in France and we've always preferred the old school style so we chose Benoit's. From moment one the staff here was everything we'd hoped. We were greeted warmly as brought to our table where our waiter answered our questions. Our sommelier was our favourite, very friendly and funny and helped us a lot with our wine choice. The food was okay. We tried different things and sampled each other's. Our overall impression was that it was fine. Nothing that made us really savour and not memorable. We'd come here expecting this to at least challenge our top dining experiences but the food let it down. We were also a little disappointed that there was no evening tasting menu. I'd thought it was part and parcel of being a Michelin star restaurant but I was clearly wrong and that was disappointing for us both. I think there's one at lunch but I clearly had trouble understanding their menu so I'd doublecheck with the restaurant itself. Food is a 3, service is a 5 so overall 4 stars.

    Intimate surroundings, attentive service, wonderful food and a great ambience. Bill for 4 incl. 1 bottle of mid-price (€80) red wine, was €510 - make of that what you will. We enjoyed it but it was a special occasion; not sure I could do it every week!

    There are those places you go to graze and there are places you go to dine and this is a dinning establishment. Looking for cheap eats then this is not for you. BUT the food is amazing and the service is also amazing. We had an anniversary dinner and it did not leave us wanting more. The butter was like cheese and we actually ate it like a good cheese! Our waiter was fantastic, he was in love with the food telling us a great story about every dish and he seemed like he was in love with every dish on the menu. Is this a cramped little place, for sure in the main dining area. Benoit is also not a whisper zone it is pretty loud but that is also what makes it cool. I loved that you could come in jeans, we actually put on some nice threads. The pork was great. And I must say the other diners were a lot of fun to watch and listen to. I loved the fact that wine was decanted and that the people working here were in love with the food and venue. As I said at the top this is not economy eating but TOTALLY worth a visit. Get a reservation as there are no walk ins, not the day we were there anyway, and the staff laugh if you think you can just come in off the street. This is an award winning restaurant and it is absolutely clear why.

    We had a reservation for 7:30 and were graciously greeted and seated immediately in the front part of the restaurant. Everyone we talked to was very considerate, spoke English perfectly and made excellent recommendations for food and wine (knowledgable sommelier). Thomas was our waiter and he particularly was very thoughtful, made us feel welcome and guided us gently to delicious choices. Merci Thomas! It was one of those dinners you hope never ends and course after course comes but thankfully you find room. Save room for both the cheese plate and the chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream. Highly recommended.

    VERY SMALL ROOMS WERE YOU CAN GET TO MEET AND GET TO HEAR YOUR NEIGHBORS CONVERSATIONS AND maybe get to taste what they have ordered. The quality of their food IN SOME CASES was just strange -- either had to be warmed up or it was prepared way in advance --- not what one expects at the price point.

    Yet another Ducasse restaurant with its flare of its own champagne, chocolate and the usual standards. Pricier than most bistros, it boast classics that are well made. There are even pricier items that include foie gras, so be prepared to fork out as much as 50 euros for a main. However beautifully prepared and the rooms are charming and benefitting of an old-style Parisian restaurant. Worth a visit but 2? Perhaps not. There are so many to chose from in Paris.
