Incredible brunch, get a coffee drink and ask them to make a fun design for you, they have ones that say like "sex drugs and coffee" or a hand flipping you off it's so funny. But the food is also to die for, good spot for sunday morning when you're hungover and avoiding work.

Great welcome when we stopped off for a couple of drinks. Great tonic with the gin too - from a small supplier near Athens in Greece. Good recommendation for the gin as well - Geranium. And olives that were very yummy. Great atmosphere - highly recommended!

We had a great lunch shareing a waffle with chicken and eggs Benedick with pulled pork. Both was delicious and well prepared. The staff was friendly but not too attentive. We never got the water we orderd (it got taken of the bill without argument though), it was generally hard to get their attention and after 7 minutes we gave up waiting for the check to arrive and got up to pay at the counter. How ever the food was real good so I will give it an otjer try.

This place gets five stars for the raspberry jam alone. Get the brunch plate, the quality of food is amazing and it tastes fantastic!

Very unique concept of small plates of food can taste many dishes and menu has an excellent selection for vegetarians. The taste is awesome and everything is so fresh and has a new flavor to offer. My Bellini could have been better but since wasn't on the menu thanks to the bartender for making it. It's a must do restaurant on your trip to Copenhagen

Great place for breakfast or brunch. They are open early, so can grab some food before work. I would recommend booking a table as getting a table might be tricky on busy periods. The menu has classics and some more creative dishes, but all are very well made. The staff is friendly. They are family friendly.

Great place for brunch. Had avocado and poached egg on rye toast with bacon. Simple but very well executed!! Freshly squeezed orange juice was amazing and wonderful Soya Latte.

Very busy, but I was lucky enough to get a table. Obviously busy as popular with good brunch menu that lived up to expectation.

Visited as a family for brunch. No issues getting a table straight away at 10am on a Friday - highchairs are avaible and plenty of choice for vegetarians and children. 3 breakfasts and coffees was over £50.

We loved the evening meatballs menu which is sort of like Danish tapas. You choose from a list of different meatballs/fish balls and a list of vegetable sides. All of our choices were delicious! Service excellent. We hadn't booked but were able to sit on the street-side tables outside ( blankets are available for warmth as the evening cools down). Draught beer also fabulous. We were really pleased to have walked up into the side streets to eat here rather than at the canal side in Nuyhaven which is very touristy, and all the restaurants serve blandly international menus.

We ate here before a cruise and were very impressed with our service and the food. It serves breakfasts that most Americans would enjoy with a bit of a Danish flair.

I've spent almost every Sunday for the past few months at the Union Kitchen. My favorite item from the menu is the stuffed croissant, but the Naan pizza is also really good! All ingredients are fresh and if you like lemonade, this is the place to get some.

Popped in here for a quick breakfast with a friend during a short visit to Copenhagen. I was very impressed. Situated in the heart of the old city, it was super convenient to find, and the old school nicely designed interior was welcoming. The friendly staff quickly served up a refreshing cappuccino followed up with some scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and avocado. The food was served speedily, was presented delightfully and was cooked perfectly. If you are after something quick and high quality, you can't go wrong getting breakfast here. Recommended. Pros 1. Quality food 2. Friendly staff 3. Good sense of humour with funny slogans sprinkled on your cappuccino Cons 1. It's not a huge place - so better for small groups Tip Go for the scrambled egg - hard to do well, and they get it right here.

I had lunch last week the staff are very nice and helpful the food is healthy and delicious appetizers are sooo delicious only for one thing the main course came into balls like it's either salmon balls or fish balls or chicken balls I wish they had more variety for the main course. The raspberry cheese cake is scrumptious.

A full brunch with a lot of tasteful items. Egg, sausage and bacon, salmon and avocado, fruit, croissant and jam, crispy salad. Kind staff. The place is a bit noisy.

Great location and atmosphere. The meatball orientated dinner menu is inspired. Lots of different meat variations and one veggie option. Thai Chicken Curry and Greek Lamb are two highly recommended. The side dishes are numerous and every bit as good as the 'balls and more than addresses the meat/veggie imbalance. Good service to boot. Around £40 a head - good value in terms of what things cost locally.

Delicious meatballs. Also suited to vegetarians. Accommodates requests for young children. Reserve a table if dining during prime time. Friendly staff can get Alittle forgetful during peak hours. Wine a bit pricey. Would return.

Daughter (24 yo) found this place online as a hip and cool place for breakfast/lunch. It was pricy, but not out of the ordinary. The menu looks great, and the bloody Mary was amazing. The dishes we got though varied in value. The brunch plate was a bullseye, the waffle with berries was OK but overpriced (and probably better with the yogurt on the side) The Green Bowl, a main for a main's price looked and tasted like a side salad, and lacking flavor at that. The Mash was the same. No more than a side dish of mashed potatoes with a bit of mushrooms and an egg. The place was nevertheless nice and hip, but for the prices and at the location, I expected much more.
