Really good large room with plenty of space and shabby chic decor and muted lighting. Excellent house set menu and very good food, inventive, different and nice blend of flavours. Extensive wine list and great beer too. Excellent service. Good value. A must visit restaurant in this trendy meat packing area of Copenhagen.

I loved every single dish that I had ordered, from the salmon to the chicken liver and the risotto - it was excellent. I couldn't stop there and had the meringue afterwards. It was so good that I didn't realise my own food limit and literally overate. We also had wine to go with the food, an austrian and a CA one - really good. I'd return here no problem! By the way, you don't have to go for the recommended three dishes. Two is more than enough if you're a little lady like me. If you can't stop eating, enjoy and just walk back to the hotel.

Despite not having a reservation, we were able to get a table on a Saturday evening for 1.5 hours. At that time enough for us to enjoy the good food (very diverse set of tapas) and the atmosphere. Enjoyed it!

Visited here for dinner on last night in town. It's located in a set of former industrial units, now mostly food and retail shops. A good menu which is along Tapa lines, is accompanied by a decent wine list. Staff are as usual in the city, pleasant and clued-up. My 3 dishes were cured Faeroese salmon, Pork, and a very nice Tartare. The wine was good, but the white wasn't chilled enough for my palate. I'd go again.

Paté Paté is a lively sympathic location with very good cuisine, dishes to share and good wine list. Located in the vibrant meat-packing district of Kopenhagen.

This is the cool eating area of Copenhagen. You won't find a better restaurant than Pate Pate, recommended to us by an ex-waiter we met last month in Canada. Great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff who always have time for you and just so friendly. Even the cheapest wines on the list are excellent (and wine in Denmark is so bloody expensive) so you can trust them. Food super. We went for the smaller dishes (they recommend 3 each but you could manage with fewer and then order more). Every one delicious. Nothing is cheap in Copenhagen but this is worth spending the money on.

All four of us ordered the 3-course Sunday night menu and were very happy we did. The beetroot borani starter was incredibly delicious as were the onglet steak and panna cotta dessert. We were also impressed with the friendly servers who took care of us while we dined outside. As the sun set and temperature began to drop blankets offered by the restaurant kept us snug and added hygge to our evening. Prices were reasonable, particularly for Copenhagen and for the high quality of our meal.

We came here after the nearby fiskebar was closed for lunch! But what a find....great little corner. Very well cooked and tasty roast pork, along with the argentinian red prawns. Very nicely bbq-ed. The setting was great. Staff really friendly. Prices..i guess you wouldnt label it a cheap eat. We had 3 mains and one side with 2 lemonades for about 450kronos in total. It was an otherwise wonderful experience..great save after our origonal destination was shut! :)

Pate Pate is a very busy restaurant in the Meatpacking District. The place has a cool shabby chic look with sombre lighting that creates a chilled mood. I would recommend that you make reservations as it is very popular. As we looked over the menu we sipped an Aperol spritz and rose wine. When it came time to give our order to our server she cautioned us that we may have ordered too much food. This was very sound advice and we cut back one dish. We had a simple appetizer of burrata with walnuts and cucumbers. Summer fresh and delicious. The main consisted of a roasted chicken and fries which we shared. It was quite enormous and we were unable to demolish the whole bird. The skin was crisp and the meat was very moist. Another thumbs up. Along with a bottle of Austrian rose (plus water at 50 DKK) our total bill was 1250 DKK. We felt the price was commensurate with the food quality and service. Servers are hip, knowledgeable and approachable.

This crowded and popular restaurant is a "small plate" or tapas style place. The waiter suggested we would want about 3 plates each for a meal, but at $15-25 or more per plate, we thought that was a too much. The plates we did have, one each, were extremely good and we all agreed. To add insult to injury, all the restaurants in Copenhagen add about 2.4% charge if you use a "foreign" credit card.

Walked up and asked to be seated. Claimed with no reservations they had no openings. Restaurant was about 1/3 empty. Went to Warpigs and had a great meal. Walked back to our hotel past Pate Pate and they were now 2/3 empty. Their claim of being full was a lie. I'd recommend passing on this restaurant.

This is one of our favourite places in Copenhagen.Brunch, early dinner or late dinner - they always deliver. Located in the trendy and very cool Kødbyen - it is def. worth a visit. Just remember to book a table!!!! Been here as a couple many times and always happy. Last yeat - for pride - we were about 15 friends for dinner and we hoped to repeat the succes this year - but now with 22 of us...and it all went very well. To start with they managed to make space for 2 more late arriving guests - and we all got seated in our own 'room'. Which was great both for us - and especially for other guests since we were quite loud. We had the chef's meny and this is really good food at a great price. And of 22 of us - everyone was very happy and talked about this restaurant later this day and sunday. We had also the greatest service and a realy sweet waitress - we were amazed that she managed to keep up with the noise and the big crowd that we were. She was a catch :) Again - we will be back and hopefully with lots of friends again .. many many times.

We walked in after a busy day of walking and were happily seated quickly and served efficiently. Food was delicious, the waitress efficient and friendly, answering our questions and making recommendations. We chose five selections from the sharing menu - highlight was the oysters but all the plates were delicious. Venue was busy, good vibe - would definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere, fantastic food and wine. The service and attention from the staff could be even better and more observant. I always recommend this place to people looking for a restaurant in Copenhagen. Also for the area (Kødbyen) since it's a really nice one.

Me and my husband where here for the first time in August 2017 when visiting our favorite city - Copenhagen. We where positive surprised by this gem for a restaurant. It didn't started out well at first because the waitress couldn't find our reservation. She seated us at the bar for half an hour wait. This was OK and she even served us two glasses of champagne on the house because of their mistake. That was very appreciated 👍🏼 we ordered some Gillardeau oysters to the champagne. The food was of Scandinavian/French inspirational and served on small plates. Each person should order 3-4 plates to try out. The recommended Pinot Noir wine "Juris" was superb. They seem to have a lot of all kinds of spirits, wines and beers. I/we surly recommend this place for a nice dinner.

The food is good, even the dishes are small, if you are hungry this is not your place. The service it wasn't nice, I haven't seen before waiters like that, is look they were training to speak you bad...

We went there for some virgin cocktails in the afternoon sun. Refreshing, expensive. Good atmosphere. Very slow delivery - difficult to find a waiter to get the bill.

As we rushed through Vesterbro on our last day in Copenhagen, we decided to sit down for a quick meal around 5.30pm. At the “meatpacking area” are several restaurants. We looked for menus on the front doors and not finding any, we went in and asked to see the menu. Paté Paté was the 2nd one we checked. Situated at the corner of a street and a no-car passage, the restaurant was naturally lighted. The tables were reasonably spaced from one another. Seeing some people already in and being greeted by friendly young people, we decided to go in. A young man came immediately. While we started with the drinks (the chardonnay was good); he put some things to nibble then gave us the menu. There was a choice between a “small portion”, a “bigger portion”, and an extensive menu to share or to take individually. He explained immediately that we might wait for a while since “everything served in the restaurant is fresh”. We actually didn’t wait that long. The fried hake I had, twice the size of a smaller portion, was nicely served with Danish potatoes, red beet, a green vegetable, and a bit of tasty sauce. My husband’s grilled rib eye was neatly presented with broccoli and sautéed onions, but he complained that the steak was thin with much bone and fat. French fries was a side dish. Paté Paté could be one of the places where you might indulge in good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Hopefully, the rib eye would be of better quality.

No problem getting a table for 1 on a Thursday night at 9pm. I enjoyed the food and wine but was disappointed that they were out of 2 of the 3 small plates I chose from the menu. Waitress was apologetic and offered me a coffee on the house as she could tell I was disappointed. Not sure when I'll get back here so that's why it was disappointing. The neighborhood has a cool vibe and overall I enjoyed my visit here.
