This bar is fairly large and is in a combining location in Alexanderplatz. It's a place that looks nice and it does have a lot of seating outside. I asked a bartender for a cocktail and just mumbled something and threw a drink list on the bar. The drink list is perfect for stags and stagettes with sugared drinks. Settled for drinks without glow straws, fruit or sexually suggestive names. When it came to paying, they don't take credit cards. Cash only. Ok, I can work with that. Asked to a receipt as it was a business meeting and he said no, he can't give me a receipt. We left after a drink.

We stumbled on this place after coming off the hop on hop off bus, ( of a word of warning that the toilets just before it cost 50cents and a guy sits by them and waits for you to pay... I have no issue with that but did have issue with how rude he was to some people ) . The menu for cocktails is really good and we decided on a gorgeous tropical banana one and had Currywurst and pommes between us ( which was quite a large portion ). It cost us about €30 all together and it was worth it, especially to relax in the sun 😁

We came across this place on the first night of our trip to Berlin. We ordered some Berliner beer and food. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic. 10 euro for a big burger and beautiful chips. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. He recommended some places to visit in the city. Unfortunately i cannot remember his name. Ive seen some reviews saying this place is expensive but that is completely false. For a major city like Berlin, 4 euro a pint and 10 euro for a beautiful meal is not bad at all. It was a very relaxing places to sit at night and you are within earshot of the local street musicians to set the mood. AlexanderPlatz is an amazing place and Alexoase made it all the better. Thanks for an amazing experience,

Our lunchtime experience was one we would never want to repeat. This is a great shame because from the outside this place looks attractive with its coloured sun umbrellas and handy location in the centre of bustling Alexanderplatz. Having found a seat we waited 15 minutes before a very harassed waitress responded to our desperate pleas for service by shouting that she was too busy and we would have to wait while she did "something in the kitchen". We didn't see her again for a further 15 minutes and in the meantime flagged down a waiter from an adjacent section. He gracefully accepted our order. Sadly the pain didn't end there. 1 dish arrived within about 10 minutes ( a salad) but anything cooked failed to arrive for a further 20 minutes. Eventually it showed up with the waiter apologizing that the kitchen had "lost the ticket" (personally I think the whole joint has lost the plot). The food was OK but nothing special, unlike the prices which were vastly inflated - 7 euros for a bottle of water? You must be kidding. All in all we wasted nearly 2 hours in this shambles of a place and paid 70 euros for some chips, burgers and a salad. Daylight robbery. Avoid.

As we stay in The Park Inn Radisson Blu Hotel Alexanderplatz this bar is as handy as it gets being right outside the hotel Alexanderplatz side. This is a cool bar ,eclectic seating ranging from conventional seats to deckchairs and hammocks and cool open serving bars of which there are plenty. We were here a couple of times on our weeks holiday in Berlin ,we ordered Berliner Kindl Rot & Grun and on both visits drinks were served in tip top condition,it was just so nice being in such a cool bar that on both our visits was absolutely packed with a great atmosphere. The price might be a tad higher but as I only ever visit this bar for drinks very acceptable in my opinion. This bar is certainly popular and on both our visits and every time we passed this bar day or night was bouncing. AlexOase is easy to locate in Alexanderplatz in an area that is really lively . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,10am till 3am. A great bar in a great location and well worth checking out.

A pretty poor restaurant. Service very slow and the food no better than average. Potential could be great, but not realised. Salads poor and swimming in dressing, burgers tasteless ( with non existent side salad ), the only plus point the beer wasn't bad. It took the staff ages to get us the bill. Give this place a miss.

Could it be a coincidence that this place claims not to take cards but directs you to a machine on the edge of their bar where the charge is 4 times any other ATM we encountered in Berlin? You decide if they own it!! Situated right next to the tram stop this is all it has going for it in my book as you can get away very quickly. Alexanderplatz is not one of Berlin's highlights and this place is perhaps well suited to it. Demand payment as soon as they serve you and a disagreeable waiter hounding you for a tip. Seemed more like a UK bar that a German. Still we found at least one thing they do not do better than the British - this place.

We used this place for drinks during our 3 day break in the city, daytime staff very friendly and honest, however a couple of evening staff let them down. On our last night (20th June) we ordered 2 Havana 7 with coke @ €7.50 each which obviously should have been a bill of €15, however the male waiter charged me €16, having thought it was my mistake I then tipped him €1, as I had done every time we ordered a drink over our visit. When I asked him to explain, he tried to justify it by pointing out that there is no service charge, so he added a euro on to compensate for this. On expressing my disgust at this basic theft he offered my tip back but not his "service charge". A female colleague also tried to justify it by telling us about a group who's bill was €90 and left no tip, now I'm sorry but I should not have to pay for other people not tipping. Totally unacceptable behaviour in any restaurant or bar.

This is the place to go if you are desperate, not to eat. My friend had a salad and thought that was fine. Do not try the burger! It is dry, very dry. I would not reccomend going here to eat.

Visited over lunch. Nice spot for a drink. Food was passable and beer good. Service not so good. Ended up getting our own drinks from the bar. Took ages to get served. Order was wrong and incomplete. Would probably advise just drinks spot.

Had lunch here we both decided to have jacket potatoes with a salad I had one with herring and my wife had hers with smoked salmon. Service to start with was a bit slow but they were busy and only a few waiters, but the service was good. The lunch was nice but the potatoes needed to be cooked a bit longer. We still enjoyed our meal and it was nice to sit in the sun eating.

Located in the centre of Alexanderplatz it is a great spot if you want to take a break from shopping/sightseeing and relax. There are a few bars and a generally chilled vibe. We sat there for hours drinking beers!

We was here for some lunch. Food was ok but the waitress was a disaster. We tried to ask something about the menu but the answer was that she should come back. You dont treat your customer like that and blame it on that she had more People waiting. Dont recommend it

Located in the heart of the pedestrian area of Alexanderplatz. Service was spotty. I waited over 20 minutes for a waiter, I asked a few as they walked by only to be told "no my area". When I finally got service she was very apologetic about the wait. I did not try the food as I was only there for drinks on a hot May day in Berlin. For the staff who ignored or passed me up, yes I am an American but I tip as an American (at least 20% for good service), even though I know what tipping is in Germany.

We had to wait for ages to have our order taken. Many people left for that reason. The juices I ordered were of the cheapest supermarket quality. Not fresh at all

Nice location to sit in the sun and have a drink. That's the only nice thing I can say. Schnitzel was very dry; service was not great and kept getting harassed by bees. Very disappointing

What got me down was that the burgers just don't feel real. Felt like frozen store-bought burgers that are cooked poorly (over cooked). They trap you in with the price, but then you left with bad food.
