I visited this place on a whim and was not disappointed. The staff were very friendly, service was quick, and most importantly, the food was excellent. Prices are not too bad (my bowl of noodles cost me 8 Euros). If you're looking for a place to grab lunch or dinner in Berlin, I highly recommend Shaniu's House of Noodles!

You know, i am a sucker for a good bowl of noodle soup and this has to be the best one in berlin let me tell you why 1. The bowls are all priced the same, for some reason i really love that 2. All bowls are good, some are exceptional 3. The texture of the noodles are really quite unique, you have to try them to know what I mean 4. The interior is average at best, since the place is very small and gets crowded fairly quick Don't order anything else than the noodle soup, they also offer other good stuff but it's called house of noodles for a reason. Cheers!

I am a Chinese and have been to many Chinese restaurants in Berlin. It was so frustrating for me couldn't find any good ones in big city Berlin. I finally found one this authentic and great qualities restaurant. The price also absolutely affordable. Food here is not only amazing. The chef think outside the box and turn regular Chinese food into something special. I am going there all the time now and u? :)

It's no wonder this restaurant was busy with people during our lunch visit - it is clean, has good service and the home made noodles are excellent. Fully recommended.

The restaurant was full so we had to wait a short time. It looked clean and bright. The seating was uncomfortable and the table a bit too low. The table was quite small, leaving very little room for two of us to comfortably eat our meals and have drinks. The menu appeared Westernized and non-traditional. I ordered a kimchi noodle dish that tasted ok. The quality of the noodles were good but, overall it just seemed careless and lacking. I could've just stir-fried noodles and kimchi at home for a fraction of the price. My dining partner thought the soup was very good.

The service was great - we had heard the restaurant was tiny and always booked up, but the English-speaking waitress kindly took a reservation and told us to come back in 40 minutes. We weren't disappointed. The food is fresh and insanely tasty - the freshly prepared spring rolls and dumplings were perfection. And the prices were great! Very warm and inviting staff, great range of food. The only slight niggle was the fact they didn't take credit or debit cards - which is annoying for an international traveller. Be prepared and come with cash.

I found this restaurant from its reviews and I am so glad that we ate here. It's a compact restaurant just outside the city centre but very close to the U-bahn. We had to wait for a table, but it was really worth the wait. The dumplings were amazing and handmade, and the rest of the dishes we ordered were really fresh and very tasty. I would not hesitate to come back here again. One final comment, I wanted to give this restaurant five stars but they do not accept credit cards so I will not give the extra star. We are in the 21st Century and you are in a city where you wish to attract international travellers - please start to accept internationally accepted payment methods.

Found this place from a friend and since I love good Chinese food, we went there last night for dinner. we made a reservance for 1900 hour bur was told to come at 1930.. My first disappointment was that there was not a single Chinese customers there. You can alway judge a good chinese restaurant when you see local Asian there. 99% of the guests there were European. Our table was ready, and we were ready for a good dinner. We ordered 3 starters which includes Dim Sum, dry tofu and Shaomai which taste great. we also order 3 main courses. As we just finished our starters, we were told by one of the waitress that we had to move to another table as there need our table for other guests. BUT, we book this table. As I do not want to cost any trouble, we pick up our coats and beers and was moved to a tiny table next to the toilet so that we can con`t our main course. There were not enough space for our 3 main course dishes, plus drinks and rice. Can you imagine how our evening went? The food were good..actually real good and the service were also friendly but the place is so small that you feel like you are in a Sardine can. The boss try to have too many tables in this small room. Even Macdonald have more space than this here. When I go out for dinner, I like to enjoy my evening with good food and nice surrounding but here I feel like I am squeeze into a tight box. Nice but never again.

This is simply the best place I've been to for Chinese food in Berlin. After a warm welcome from the owner, we were taken to our table and received our first drinks very promptly. Our crab wonton starter was excellent in appearance and taste -- a real winner. This was followed by a generous helping of delicious seafood noodle soup, which has become my go-to order on my regular visits to this fine establishment. The value for money is simply unbeatable, and I'd be happy to pay twice as much for the superb quality and friendly hospitality. To avoid disappointment, it's advised to reserve a table in advance, as the restaurant seems to always be packed throughout the day and in the evening.

My friend and I visited this restaurant on 26th November, the place was quite small in capacity, so if you make a reservation beforehand or you come sooner then you won't have any issue with getting a seat. We ordered mapo tofu, noodle soup and some of the dim sums, like xiaolongbao and xajiao. The food all tasted very fresh, nice and so original like the ones I had in China. Would really recommend this restaurant to chinese food lovers.

I took some family members here who were knew to chinese food on the basis of the good reviews. We reserved and got the table next to the aquarium. Reserving is probably a good idea for a larger group as most of the tables are for 2 or 4. We tried a variety of dishes from noodle soup, fried noodles and dishes with rice. Everything was good quality and fresh tasting. The crispy duck dishes are particularly good. The fried noodles with vegetables were a little bit too oily but when I mentioned this to the waitress afterwards she said that this was quite normal and we should ask for it with less oil next time. Cucumber salad was as good as others say and dumplings were certainly worth ordering. The place has a very pleasant atmosphere and staff are very friendly and not pushy. The prices are also very good. They have a lot of dishes for 6€.

I came across this restaurant on the web and decided to give it a try. How glad I was that I did. Its on Pariser Str and the best way to it is to take the Ubahn to Spichernstr (U3 or U9)and walk through a pedestrian passage to the street. The place is small (about 30 - 35 seats) but plenty of seating outside. The menu is very wide ranging in Oriental cuisine and I opted for a simple meal of Steamed Prawn Dumpling followed by Kung Po Chicken. Ordinary choice but certainly not ordinary food judging by the quality. The food is delicious and with typical Oriental standards of service. A fair indicator of the restaurant's popularity is evident by the number of Oriental customers and the number of people being turned away. Better to make a booking and the staff seem to be happier speaking English instead of German.

Being in Berlin is not only about eating curry wurst, there is a chinese restaurant where you have to be and feel the orient - Shaniu's! The owner is talking with customers, all staff is ready to help you to decide what to choose - but I'm sure that everything is awesome! Inconspicious place, but when you enter you will feel a mouth-watering smell. Everything is authentic and prices are resonable!!!

Not a fancy place, but food is nice and the service is fast. All the soups we tried were great as well as the crispy duck with pineapple.

Found this little family-run restaurant and we are so happy that we did! It is a very small restaurant, but the atmosphere is lively and the staff are so friendly! The food is amazing and not too expensive, wide selection on the menu and has English translations (or else we would not have stood a chance!).
