We visited the place twice, at first in a Saturday night when it was fully packed! All tables were full/reserved so we thought it must be really good. So we tried again on a Sunday, lunchtime with the kids. The food is really nice, the pizza especially but we also had a very interesting quinoa salad as well as fish, we enjoyed all the different dishes. The service was kind of slow, though, although the waiters were nice and polite and patient with our kids. We will definitely visit again and introduce the place to friends.

After a day off training and teambuilding we ended up having dinner in this restaurant next to Zurich HB. The group of 30 people was placed at 4 tables. The location is nice, the old postbuilding. The inside is decorated with reminders. For the whole group we got starters, anti pasti and as main course a pizza margarita which you could top yourself with various ingredients placed on the table. All the food was okay, but nothing special.

Expensive Pizza as usual if you compare it to rest of europe BUT this one is worth the money. Nice crust - real italian style and not floated with mozarella cheese, so you really can taste what you are eating. Definetly worth going if you want to know how a Pizza Italian style should taste.

Because we did not receive any service at all in the Rio bar next door (please have a look at my review there) we instead came to this Italian cafe and bar with related restaurant. What a difference in service behavior: We were very friendly greeted and all service personnel was happy to show and explain us the various desserts. Coffee tasted excellent so we ordered more desserts than originally planned. Also the desserts tasted great. We enjoyed a great evening in a warm atmosphere. Is this a helpful review? Then please give me a "Thumbs up Thank FrankGeisler" by clicking the button below.

There's no soft way to put it: you cannot get a good pizza after you pass the Alps. Northern people have no idea how to make it. It's funny, because it should be fairly easy to go to Milano from Zurich and have a look at a proper pizza, but apparently no Swiss pizzaiolo has ever done that. So Swiss pizzas are really inedible: they use the wrong ingredients, the wrong proportions, the wrong times, temperatures. All of it, wrong. The pizza in this place is an exception: it is simply good, as any proper Italian pizza. Not better, no: the same. And that's enough.

We had a group dinner in March - we all wanted to meet for pizza. this was the worst pizza in town, we had to give one back because it wasnt done. the service was very slow and we had a long wait on the drinks and the food. Piu is overpriced for the quality.. a smile can help alot if you work at a restaurant.

This was a very nice lunch. Pizzas were very tasty, thin and crisp. Burrata / Parma and bread also nice Expensive - but guess you have to get used to EUR 25 for a pizza when in Switzerland. Service was good.

On June 22, around 9:15 pm, I visited the restaurant's terrace to get a sparkling water on that hot day's evening... I sat down at a table, ashtray was uncleaned and that should have been a first warning for me... I waited... 5 minutes went by ... 10 minutes went by... 15 minutes went by... (!!). There were 3 personell that served all tables around me, but didn't stop at my table to take order. After 20 minutes, i got up, and in that very moment, a waiter came to the table and cleaned the ashtray without saying "Hello" or "Goodbye". I then quit the place, thinking to myself that my stay there was one huge waste of my life's time. This will never happen to me again.

This whole store was very cosy, not too formal not too informal, some oldish touches like the old phone appliances of the post. However the menu had pretty limited options. That's not necessarily a bad thing but in this case, the food was also just mediocre. My friends all found it just average, but myself I had a calzone which poured half a cup of water in my plate as soon as I cut the first bite. Desserts looked delicious but none of them really was. In fact they were maybe worse than the main courses.

Our first family visit to Piu was positive in all aspects. Our pizzas were very good, the service was very friendly and the prices for food and wine were reasonable ro central Zurich. Industrial urban design and an excellent atmosphere.

I went there last night. As I was bit in a rush I decided to order my Pizza from the take away corner. By the way: The restaurant is decided in 2 areas , a restaurant which has a new cool style. Everywhere on the wall you find old phones due the history of this buidling. The other side is a a Take away area where you can build your own pizza and they do it in front of you. Usually after work and at weekends this place is very crowded and I suggest an advance reservation. Possible online as well. Outside they have in Summer big seating area. The Pizza is very good and fresh. Price Value is very good too. Honestly it is a great pizza but I still prefer the one from restaurant "Rosso" in Zurich West The service and the staff at Piu were very friendly. You feel the very famous Italian Hospitality way.

Nice place with friendly staff. We had a great pizza with mascarpone cheese! The parma burrat was excellent as a starter but the pasta wasn't that good.

At più you should have a margherita with your favorite beer or wine. Finish off with a ristretto and the most delicious of all "cosa aragosta"! They also have space and. seating for kids as well as drawing kits to keep them entertained while they wait for their food too...
