After we had dinner we went to the roof lounge 18th floor and what a perfect view of the city in the early evening with all the lights on and the hustle and bustle of downtown big city, it was a fun filled evening

I've been to the Roof Lounge for nearly 30 years, since my days at the University of Toronto. This place is pure class. You will not be out of place in a jacket & tie, or suit. You should not go here in shorts or sneakers. This is a small lounge, with a spectacular patio that provides a great panorama of the Toronto skyline. Tourists or visitors to Toronto will especially appreciate the view. This lounge cannot accommodate large parties and you will likely have to wait to be seated on the patio. Everything is expensive and drinks are ~$20 each at least. This is for an upscale crowd and perfect for a cocktail on a date.

Very nice and exclusive lounge. Very friendly staff, healthy options. I would recommend the visit. Vegetarian, vegan and a lot of options. Not for younger age.

Another restaurant at the Park Hyatt. If you're not one of the beautiful people, the staff will ignore you, and you'll have to commit the sin of attracting their attention. Everything is tremendously overpriced as well. Even a beer here is more expensive that a beer from the mini-bar in the rooms. There is a decent view of the CN Tower & the skyline from the outside patio. The patio is not usable during the day, due to the bees that are flying around.

we popped up to the lounge but could not get onto the terrace so we just stopped for 1 drink. Quite expensive but good service

Great food, expectacular view, good wines selection. I could come back any time to enjoy an evening with my wife.

As romantic as it sounds, the rooftop bar at the Park Hyatt offers an incredible view of downtown and the skyline. Toronto’s food and gossip experience is incomplete without a fancy cocktail sipped away on a sunny summer day, with a view from the top paired with fresh shucked oysters (served after 4p). Just magical!

Dropped for a drink and mostly for the view of Toronto. The inside looks inviting for a evening / late night drink in good company but we were there for a late afternoon drink and the view so we sat on the terrace. This is very small : more of a rap around balcony than a proper terrace. Choice of drinks was extensive (but very expensive). Service was attentive, bordering but a little too pushy for my (European) taste. Overall, if you are looking for a happening roof top with a view of the city, there is a much, much better option : the newly opened Broadview hotel on Queen St East and Broadview Ave.

It all started almost three years ago when I had my first experience at the Roof Top Lounge... and I was hooked. Every time my boyfriend and I are in the area or celebrating an event, we ALWAYS end up here for a night cap. Clarence is our preferred server, and he always provides us with exceptional server. We fell in love with the atmosphere and we like that its an intimate, small space with great character. And of course the view speaks for its self.

Having just left Koerner Hall on Bloor Street last night and looking for a place to have a drink, I remembered that the Roof Lounge at the top of the Park Hyatt was nearby. I was with my wife and daughter and wanted what had been a special night so far (an excellent chamber music concert at The Koerner) to continue. I hadn't been to the rooftop bar on the Park Hyatt's 18th floor for years but I always had a good time and always enjoyed its ambience. I sometimes shared conversation and a few drinks with some writer friends and sometimes with a special friend. This time it was kind of neat to be there with my daughter just shy of her 22nd birthday. The bar 'under the stars' was fully occupied but we were shown to nice table inside. Staff kindly offered to place us on a wait list for an outside table and we later declined the option when we heard that a cloudy night had turned to drizzle. On a couple of the walls I saw framed portraits of well known writers who must have been habitues from bygone times. This bar still oozes a heady ambience. It had plenty of patrons coming and going, with plenty of conversations that one could follow, if one so chose. In a couple of words: elegant and friendly. The drinks are pricey but it is worth the expense.

We walked in not knowing that it's so tiny you need a reservation. A first for me in decades of global travel. The servers were decent enough but the place was more like a "Be seen there" bar in NY than a comfortable hotel bar for relaxing while travelling. When I asked if there was another bar we could get a drink they gave me an abrupt no. I am from New Yor and was thirsty, so I used the big apple method of possession equals 9/10s of the law. So after claimng a table from someone leaving, the really sweet Canadians were too polite to actually throw me out. ( I regret having to use this tactic but was tired and thirsty with a Client in tow,) After that the servers were perfectly nice and we enjoyed a couple of glasses of very good but pricey wine. Maybe they should consider "Guest Priorities" when seating people, allow overflow guests into the Club Hyatt Lounge or open another bar. The lovely little terrace was just that. Little.

Recently went to the roof top at Park Hyatt for a drink with my family prior to dinner nearby. I have been here before for different occasions, if you are a visitor to Toronto this would be a nice bar/ lounge to visit. The service is very good and there is a beautiful view of the city out on the terrace.

Went here new years day. Service a bit slow. Food excellent. Try the charred lamb chops, pot stickers and the best calamari I have ever had. Those 3 items plus one beer, caesar, $75 A litte pricey, but enjoyed it very much

By all means, try out the lounge even if you are not staying at the hotel. It has an outside small sitting area overlooking the city, and a fireplace and library feel to it.

I had an unplanned visit to this lounge after trying to pop in to the Proof Vodka Bar, which was full with a large group event. The Roof Lounge had a lovely ambiance and was very nice, if a bit dark. Once we got settled and had a look at the prices, in particular the drink prices, I was stunned. I don't care where you are or how fancy your hotel is, $20 for a 5 oz. glass of wine and $24 for a martini is ridiculous! Since we were there, we did order a couple of drinks and had a bite to eat and it was all very nice but just on principle alone, I can't see myself returning here.

Amazing cocktails prepared by old school bartenders in very cozy lounge/bar with a fireplace, plus a fantastic view if the city's skyline!

The room was quite lovely. We used it as a meeting room, but it would be a very classy place to have a wedding.

I went to the Roof Lounge to watch the sun set on Toronto on a Saturday night. I found no issue with getting a seat outside (perhaps because it was around 40F with a consistent wind). The lounge staff were accommodating for the weather and offered blankets in addition to the heat lamps that run over the outside part of the lounge. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a drink and dessert. While the prices are on the high end for Toronto, the view simply cannot be beat. Were I to return, I would definitely stop by again to enjoy the view.
