Te Are sources the best green coffee beans of the tropics. They roast them with precision and serve up their award winning Pilot coffee. Glorious cafe

Pilot Coffee Roasters has pretty much any coffee and espresso option you need to start your travel (or work) day. Price was very reasonable for the quality - I've definitely paid more for lower-quality espresso. Despite being in a high-traffic area in Union Station (which is currently under a ton of not-so-picturesque construction), service was friendly, quick, and efficient. One note: they do not offer iced espresso beverages (like an Iced Americano or Iced Latte) but do have a bottled cold brew option.

First off I have to say they have some of the absolute best coffee I've ever had. We are now addicted and on a coffee subscription. They sent a personalized, signed thank you card with our order along with directions on how to brew the best coffee. As a marketing person and graphic designer I have to also mention that I love their branding and all their marketing materials. Thanks for being awesome!

I have stopped here when visiting Toronto by train several times and the coffee is wonderful. Today i had a flat white, my husband a mocha. Staff seem to know what they're doing 😊

Visited the location on Wagstaff which is a bit out of the way but worth it. The coffees are excellent, and the staff knowledgeable. I particularly like the practice of sourcing the coffee locally and buying from the producers. The ultimate in fair trade.

We visited the tasting bar on Wagstaff. Traveling from Australia and first time to Toronto we drove over an hour just to visit Pilot. Expectations were exceeded. I had a 3 course tasting session and the coffee was fantastic across the 3 different brew methods. This place is all class and the service was excellent too.

While working at Union station Market, I was getting coffee at Pilot coffee Roaster. YUM! The best coffee ever and the friendliest staff. Highly recommended.

This location is called Te Aro reflecting the owners' New Zealand roots. The Queen Street location is currently one of three. Check out www.pilotcoffeeroasters.com for updates. The coffee is excellent and the cafe is clean and airy, especially in summer when they open the entire front and have outdoor seating. My two complaints is that they add a 20 cent charge for using a credit card for under $5, and they do not have either hot oatmeal or granola. The "breakfast cookie" is good but I would prefer a bowl of cereal.
