It is old and huge, more on the lines of other european central stations. if you cannot visit you are not going to miss anything.

First impression was poor, because initially there were no taxis. Then staff were kind enough to tell us they had phoned for more ! Good customer service. Good signage. Not the busiest station. OK.

Gare du Palais is simply beautiful architecture. We visited both day and night. I think the night view is stunning.

It is always nice to have such a old, but classic building, still functioning as the train and bus station. Even if you are not taking transportation out of Quebec City, I recommend you take some time to explore both the park in front of the station and the building itself. We went to the small store inside to pick up day bus passes for the local buses around town, which was convenient for us since we were staying in a bed and breakfast just across from the station.

I o to walked around this building around my afternoon adventure of old Quebec City. It had beautiful architecture. Many tourists seemed to be attracted to it as well.

Waiting on the train is fine, but don't expect much from the restaurants. It's really an end station with just basic option. Not like bigger stations in Canada.

Palais Station is a train and bus station in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Its name comes from its proximity to the Palace of the Intendant of New France.

Outside is seems to be a palace, but the nicest is inside, with precious cellins, and the shops site very sweet you don't expect this in a train station

Built at the same time as the Chateau Frontenac. Beautiful architecture. It is a functioning station, a good food stop and even a comfortable place to take a short break from all the walking. Nice grounds with fountains.

Beautiful building for train service to/from Quebec. Ample number of cabs are available outside. Note that if you are planning to walk to your hotel from the train station, most hotels in old Quebec are uphill from the station. There are some restaurants about a block away on a main thoroughfare, but otherwise, it is an uphill walk to most of Quebec. You may want to take a cab if you have a lot of luggage or are not sure of walking directions. We stayed at hotel less than a mile from the train station, and the cab fare was only about $7 plus tip.

If you are in the area this building is a must see. The architecture is amazing. This is an old train station that is still functioning today.

I would not consider this a "must see", but if you are in the area and love historic buildings, I would make the effort to stop by. This beautiful old building looks more like a museum than an operating train station. Very picturesque.

Not a place to necessarily visit but if you're into architecture it's definitely a building to see. As other reviewers mentioned it's one of the best looking buildings in the city and hard to believe it's a rail station and not a museum by the looks of it.

This is the most beautiful train station I have ever seen. The building looks fantastic outside and inside. We took a train ride from here to Montreal and even service was fast, efficient and just simply great. I took so many pictures of the building.

This is the central train station in the old part of Québec City. It is not a must-see attraction but it is definitely a very nice building with an amazing architecture.

This is an architecturally beautiful building in the Old Port section of the city. It was built in 1915 and it is still an active train and bus station. There are restaurants and souvenir shops. It has everything a traveler could need, including a dentist!

Came into Quebec City on the ViaRail into this station, and I must say, the architecture is beautiful. The station is small and cute, and there are lots of interesting things to look at! Wonderful building!

Even that you are not traveling on train, this building is a tourist destination by itself. It will take you very short time to get there and will be so rewarding to admire the Decor.
