This brewery has some of the smoothest ales available. Light and tasty. Huge parking lot. Lights out service. Shout out to Lindsay! Neat swag including tee shirts and hoodies and a great bottle opener. Staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and respectful. This is a bi monthly trip for the their famous "Growlers" Very inexpensive. Great value!

Joined a couple of friends for this special event. The flight of pints were pretty tasty. A little surprised by the Wit but got used to it. The pies were savoury and sweet and nicely paired with the beers. Live music was included - the singer was enthusiastic but the sound wasn't the best. I'm not sure the venue is conducive to live music. It was really loud with the guests talking and drowning out the voice of the singer. A good time though for some tasty local treats!

We came to the area searching for excellent craft "sour" beers. Got in just before closing, which is 8:00 pm on a Thursday. Seems like 8:00 pm is a typical closing time for most local breweries. The tasting room at Wellington Brewery is large and staffed with friendly, knowledgeable beer lovers. The young woman who offered tasting suggestions today also gave us a Craft Beer Passport which outlines 13 breweries in the Kitchener/Waterloo/Guelph area, all part of the Waterloo/Wellington Beer Collective...very handy. Tasted some delicious sour beer today, "Shuttercock," which is available to take home in 750 ml bottles. Wellington did not have any of my all-time favourite, small batch, sour, fruity brew, "Against the Current." We are eagerly waiting for the next batch.

Wellington Brewery is fantastic!! Huge selection of beer. Standards and one offs. Loved everyone I tasted. Recently renovated and very impressive. I will hit up their store every time I come from Kitchener.

Went in to try a flight of their brews. I can say I've been to lots of craft breweries in the area and this one doesn't stand out. The brews were "safe" as far as craft breweries are concerned. They could have been a little more risk taking and blown their customers away with over the top beers. Nice tasting room and friendly staff trying their best but we won't be back. Maybe it's just our taste buds or not.......

I went to the brewery with my husband and sister on a Sunday. When we arrived at the brewery we asked the lady at the desk if there were any tours or tastings available. She said that there were no tours or tastings available on Sundays. Unfortunately she was not very helpful as she did not provide us with any information about any of the beers or the brewery itself. We helped ourselves and made a guess on what beers we should buy. The actual beer was good but we were disappointed with the experience we had with our visit. It would have been nice if the lady took the time to help us a bit as we were the only ones in the store.

Make sure that you stop by and spend some time in the tasting room. There is a pool table, tables, snacks, samples and using music or movies playing. They hold a ton of events so make sure to look them up online before heading out.

Stopped by to pick up a few one-offs last weekend. We went in to pick up a specific one-off but ended up doing a few more tastings than expected, played some pool, had some snacks and met some new friends. Tried 5 beers and enjoyed every single one of them. The Russian Imperial Stout, Chocolate Milk Stout (one-off A+++) were standouts for me but the GIGGLE JUICE BRITISH IPA was a knock out. Took home a couple growlers. Wellington is a great stop for any beer lover

Well first off let me say that we were visiting on their 30th Anniversary. What can we say, what a great time. Over 30 casks that were tapped just for the anniversary. Fantastic time, with a few food trucks, live music and an experience of sharing the day with the owners, Brewmaster and all the employees. Here, we felt at home. We were wined, dined, and entertained for the day. Tons of varieties of beer, entertainment, food, did I mention beer? The brewery is impressive, and should be as it's 30 years old. I don't know what else to say, beer was great, people were great, facility was great...all great. If you get the opportunity to visit don't miss out.

I have been at the Wellington brewery on a number of occasions. Love their cask brews! Staff are friendly and they offer tours I think once a week but would have to check.

As a lover of Craft beer and Cask Ale, Wellington's is right in my wheel house and they did not disappoint. While they do not currently offer brewery tours (I hope they offer them again soon!) they do weekly tastings every Saturday afternoon. I've been to the Satruday tastings a few times now and its always a great experience. First off.....FREE BEER! Sure its only a small glass and the limit you to 4 (I think it adds up to about a pints and a half) its still free beer. The part a really liked though is that they have a full "Pub" setup including a billiards table. If you cannot make the Saturday tasting their onsite beer store is open daily with plenty of options you cant get at the Beer Store or the LCBO, and a great selection of Brewery Shirts, caps, and glasses to buy for fans. If you love real ale this will not disappoint you.

Well organised visit part of a birthday surprise weekend. Experinced a tasting of all the beers available under the craft lable. Recommend the Wellington Dark as the most flavourfull. Only disappointment was the lack of my size in the tee shirts for sale.

I visited the brewery just to sample and buy some of the small-batch supPORTER. I've been a big fan of the County Dark Ale for a couple years now, and picked up some of those too. I packed the supPORTER and the County Dark's in my luggage as part of my relocation back to Vancouver; the beer is that good. I'm dreading the day I run out of my stock of Welly's.

What's lively brewery! Lovely selection, informative staff, great value. Saturday's between 1-4 you take a lovely tour. As part of this, you get to enjoy 6 samples of the fantastic craft brew and you get to choose one pint of your favourite! For $5 this is a steal!

Just passing by an stopped for the tour - Saturdays from 1-4 It's good value for $5 pp and includes 6 tastings of all their beers (1/4 glass) and one full pint of your choice. And a tour. And munches. And pool table. The folks are very friendly and knowledgable. I liked one because they actually brew their beer here rather than having a showcase store and brew it elsewhere. Although I had too much to drink in one sitting, it was great and we went to nap at a park nearby afterwards

Wellington brewery were the ones to crack the Brewer's Retail monopoly 20 years or more ago and have kept up the good work with both excellent bottled and draught beer and, their specialty, Real Ales. The Brewery is small and holds events and tours but the piece-de-resistance is the Arkell Best Bitter real ale. It is an english style pumped bitter (cellar temperature and naturally carbonated so not fizzy) and as far as I know only available at the Woolwich Arms pub in Guelph. It is very authentic and something hard to get anywhere. Highly recommended

If you happen to be in Guelph, Wellington Brewery is a must. I live here, and my husband and I regularly go for fun events (tastings of new beers, tours, customer appreciation days). We highly recommend this place - the staff are great and the tours are informative. The beer is awesome. Even if you can't take a tour, stop in to the store for a few beers and some merch like T-shirts or glasses.

Show up Saturday between 1 and 4 and join the informal tour. You pay $5, which allows you to try all of their taps. You also get a plastic Welly mug to enjoy your favorite brew, not to mention the tour.
