5 beers when we visited. All were good. Probably need a little more seating only draw back. Easy to find.

Easy to find, great bike stop, staff very friendly and helpful. Really nice facility that you can buy craft beer and clothing.

Came in and beat the rush with a group visit. Darcy poured us a flight, made sure my two boys weren't ignored. She explained the types, took my on an impromptu mini tour. Talked about all the processes. You could tell that she really enjoys being there. She even pointed out when the Master Brewer snuck in to do some general tinkering. I was able to have a nice chat, and see behind the scenes. Ended up really enjoying the visit and stayed for a while enjoying the beers, the environment, and the company. We really look forward to (hopefully) seeing Darcy again when we next visit!

Our first visit was in May where we sampled beer, purchase beer and souvenirs. Our favourite is the Side Launch Wheat. We returned with another couple a few months later and enjoyed sampling several beers and once again purchased souvenirs from their shop. The weather was beautiful so we enjoyed our samples on the single patio table outside :)

Not only am I fond of good ale but also an avid cyclist. This makes Side Launch my go to place when I am vacationing in the Collingwood area. They even have a bike repair kiosk there! I am not a big fan of IPA style beer but all their other products have been a hit with me and my friends.

A little off the beaten path, but the closer you get as you walk up to the building, the more ominous it appears. Absolutely massive tanks I pegged at about 40,000L each behind the tasting bar set the tone for a delicious experience. Kathleen was kind enough to help me today, and had great knowledge of the product. I had a paddle of beer and paired it with a pretzel which hit the spot. The Mountain Lager is an ideal summer sipper, but the Wheat ale smelt and tasted like bananas. The prices were affordable as well making this easily a future stop on my next trip to Collingwood. If you're looking to do a tour, book it before hand!

We are fans of Side Launch so we decided to pop in for a tasting. The lady at the bar was friendly and the feeling of the place was rustic but modern. It was neat to sit with a view of all of the equipment and could watch people working on machines nearby. You can get a flight of all four beers they offer but you have to pay for them.

Stopped here and got great service. I tasted everything they had on tap and liked them all. Staff is friendly and there is a ton of merchandise. Just picks up sme cold ones mixed variety to enjoy when I get back home. Definitely will tell others about this easy to find brewery.

Brewery was walking distance from where we were staying, limited range of beers at any one time but that's how they do it, free tasters on offer and we chose a pint of our favourites, called in a couple of times and bought the t-shirt, looking forward to re-visiting when return to Collingwood in June

I enjoy Side Launch beer so when we had a chance to visit the brewery, took full advantage of it. Fun, hip staff and amazing tour of where it all happens. The Side Launch name comes from the old ship yards which put Collingwood on the map. Really cool to find out the tasting bar was made from timbers from the original ship yards. Not surprised to hear they were named the Canadian brewery of the year. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. Collingwood seems to have become a hub for craft breweries. Amazing!

Saw this advertised on Tripadviser so when we were in Collingwood decided to pay it a visit. Amazing to find this award winning working brewery tucked away on Mountain Road. The smell of hops when you walk in and all those amazing tanks of hops working their magic. The entrance is like a small bar where you can taste the beers and there is a small shop area. The lovely lady serving was happy to answer our questions but there is no information on the process and how it all works but as stated this is a working brewery open 7 days a week. A nice fun stop

Side Launch is definitely worth a visit. They make nice beers and have a great retail store. It's fun to watch the brewer working while you try a flight. The woman working wasn't the most helpful and didn't clarify what beers we wanted in our flight before pouring but it was overall a good experience.

We ran across this little gem on the way back to Toronto from Blue Mountain resort. They have a comfy little tasting room and a good selection of beers to sample. I particularly liked the schwarzbier. I am a sucker for breweries and try to stop at every one I can.

Glad we went no charge for 4 different selections, purchased a jug of wheat beer and 3 different types of beer in cans also I purchased a t-shirt, great place

Had the chance to stop along the way at this brewery. They are super knowledgeable in the craft brewing process and the staff is eagerly engaged. When at this stop there is no forgetting you are in a brewery. You are drinking beer in the middle of their warehouse. Cool space dedicated to it but it is a warehouse just the same. Good beer. Worth the stop.

I was really impressed with this brewery. We made a quick pitstop as we were driving through town. You can sample a "flight" of their 4 beers in a very laid-back, relaxing, brewery environment. Seemed to be a popular spot, without being overly crowed. Most people seemed to drop in for a sampler, then head back out. Looking forward to our next stop-over.

Side Launch is a great little brewery and has a tasting room where you can try a flight of four for a good price. If you want to "try before you buy", or just want to drop by with some friends to enjoy your favourite, or even to shop at their store, it's a great way to spend a few minutes or linger longer. As for the earlier comment about not enough parking - I've been there several times, and that has never been a problem!
