Went here with friends last weekend and had an amazing evening. The food and the wines were delicious. Especially the Chablis was a perfect combination with the oysters. The octopus risotto is also recommended. In addition we had a really nice and helpful waiter coming from India and trying to learn Dutch. Thanks for your service! Will for sure come back

Tables out in a corner square for great people watching. We had a super cool waiter, attentive and very kind. Pretty simple menu, but with a good choise of fresh fish. Unfortunately my cod and salmon came too well done... Probably due to a very busy kitchen on weekends. Over all, a good experience.

I had a great dinner at Fiskebar. I choose a starter and main course from the suggestions. The food is fresh and tasty. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.

After a couple of years not having gone to the Fiskebar (due to a change in concept which we didn't like), we were very pleasantly surprised when we walked by the Fiskebar last week & were lured back in due to the wonderful dishes we saw inside when passing the windows. As the Osterbar has now been transformed into a very trendy Scandinavian style annex of the restaurant, you now also have the chance to walk in & enjoy the delicious food without having to make a reservation. Sitting at the high tables, and being welcomed by a very attentive laid back staff, gives the entire place a relaxed & pleasant atmosphere to stay at. As a starter we took the ceviche & crabcakes which were both perfectly prepared & full of flavor. The crabcakes were moist & crunchy and certainly one of the best I've ever eaten. The main coursers were very generous and again simple in ingredients but bold in flavor. If you're looking for a proper proper of seafood in Antwerp, make sure to visit Fiskebar!

I take the one star Michelin out but if the waiters listen better and behave more professionally, the dishes become surprising and the wines better (organic is not a quality factor in itself), they can have it back. Young & promissing.

Very nice little restaurant with a terrace in a lovely part of Antwerp. The menu concentrates on seafood with a nice selection on the menu as well as choices of the day. Food was well prepped, good quality and the staff takes their time to ensure you have a good time. Definitely recommended.

Very friendly staff but the food did not live up to the "promotional talk" and the kitchen staff do not really seem to care in preparing the dishes. The open kitchen works negatively in this case. Some dishes on the menu, like the bouillabaisse, are quite good. Prices are pretty high.

After walking two hours to get specifically to this restaurant, Fiskebar turned our tourist family of 12 away. Although the restaurant had absolutely no customers, they said they wouldn't accept over 8 people without a call 2 hours before, but though the restaurant was closed then! Tired and hungry we were turned away after offering to split up our party. They simply turned up their noses and send us away. Arrogant and no sympathy toward family with kids. We felt that they discriminated us because of our young children. We went across the road to Lucy Chang and they gladly accepted our party. Will not return.

We used to come here regularly, but not anymore after tonight. Since my 8 month pregnant wife was craving for fish I called for reservation, was told that it was fully booked but that we could pass by at 21h30 and probably a table would become available. We arrived at 21h45, 3 tables were free outside and inside all tables were free. According to the waiter all outside tables were reserved and no inside seating was possible. When my wife insisted that we called earlier, the waiter told us quite rudely that he didn't give a commitment so we should just go. With a bit of flexibility, we could have easily been seated, just 2 persons extra would not have been any problem at all. I expect more consideration for an 8 month pregnant woman! She was very hungry, craving for fish, had to wait until that late, drive there, walk, all for nothing! This is already the 2nd time that we have this type of experience at fiskebar :(

On my first visit, the food is very good. but at the second attempt to eat there, staff was a lot too laid back. They didn't want to give us a table-said there were not enough waiters to open the inside dining room, but only served outside which was supposed to be fully booked but actually was half empty. When we came by an hout later, the inside dining room was full with guests. Thanks for nothing! We will not come again, as there is many very good places in Amtwerp. Sorry, but I like service better than bureaucracy.

Visited this restaurant last night. The food and service was excellent. We found the staff friendly and helpful they explained the specials board to us in English. I had the whole Sea Bream which was absolutely delicious and hubby had the Sea Bass filet, which he also enjoyed but was rather jealous when he saw my dish. The Russian Sour cocktail was delicious and hubby took a liking to the Elephant Gin, which the waiter took the time to tell us about its origins. I would certainly visit again and hubby is going to visit with work colleagues. So a big thumbs up from us.

If you are looking for a good fish food and sea fruit place in Antwerpen, this is one of the best places to come. But beware the price is quite high.

This place is small and packed, even on a "schoolnight". Hopes are up. Had the razor clams. Quite a bit of sand. Didn't finish that. Had a very good bouillabaisse after that. Lemon meringue tart to follow. Food was 70€, bottle of Sancerre 44. Front of house was good. Food hit and miss, especially for the money. Average at best.

I came here with friends and was a big disappointed, we expected something great and was just the opposite... the food unacceptable and the knowledge of seafood of the staff was close to null. The service was very slow and the prices are totally unrelated with what they serve.

Food in here is just delicious! We had the "Plateau Fiskebar chaud", to be honest, the price is a bit steep (120€ for 2 persons) but it really was delicious. Waitresses and waiters are friendly. The restaurant has 2 sections. One is table dining and the other section is with high tables with bar chairs. Make sure to make your reservation on time! They do walk inns too (for the high tables section) but make sure to be there when they open that part of the restaurant! Cause it's packed in no time.

Best fish restaurant in Antwerp! Great food with fresh, good quality fish! Pity they decided to not sell tuna anymore, they had really good tuna steaks! Its a bit difficult to find a place there cause it's small and always full

Started with the Gin FiskeBasil, which is their house cocktail special, it was very refreshing not tasting another G and T. The salmon starter was wonderful and also the sea bass was well prepared and very tasty. A must go in Antwerp if you are into seafood!
