Being half Indian myself, I must say that the food is great! Portions are generous and I couldn't finish a meal on my own. The spicy chicken and chicken tikka are great choices as curry! Lassi is thick like a Smoothie - yum! 😋

Arrived in Melbourne tired and hungry after a long trip. This place delivered! Literally (through uber eats) and figuratively! Billed as healthy Indian it didn't disappoint, from the delectable palak pakora gluten free spinach balls with a light salad (amazing) to the light flaky spiced samosas. NOT butter chicken was the best we'd tried, apparently cashew nut cream finishes this curry so you can feel a little less guilty. The lamb tasted slow cooked and melted in our mouths. Mama Rajan has also added some quirky fusion items like Indian burgers and souvlaki. If our meal was anything to go by we'll definitely be back to try those! Healthy Indian please come to Sydney soon!

Affordable and tasty, but get there early because the venue is small and fills up fast. Friendly staff, always helpful, the butter chicken is to die for.

Was pondering the streets of Melbourne in search for Indian food, and right before my eyes, a vibrant and striking logo captured my attention, exuding the spices of India in its name, Thadka Boom! I was attended by a young ladeli guria named Zareen. This girl was really really friendly and dedicated to her work. She greeted me with a big smile and explained the dishes slowly with so much passion and in the process took me back to my child hood in Gujrat. Good Food, Good Ambience, Good Service and Friendly Zareen. 100% recommend. Satsriakal.

Casual eatery with lovely fresh food and really friendly service. My husband loved the 15 hour slow cooked lamb, and my sheekh kebab roti roll was the most delicious thing I've had in ages - full of flavour yet light enough not to weigh me down before a few hours of shopping! The mango lassi was also terrific, and the service was great. Highly recommended for brunch / lunch, and I'll be returning to try breakfast next time!
