2/3 of the shops are higher end and basement and lower levels has more affordable items. Food area at the top is great though with a large variety of options.

A food court like no other! Something for everyone. Food was excellent as was the choice of food. Reasonable prices. A must for lunch in Sydney cbd. Very convenient and easy to access.

It wasn't so long ago I used associate Westfield with Durban shopping malls. The Westfield CBD is a class above the Durban fare. During your lunch break you are welcomed In the likes of Prada, Versace, Bose, or Microsoft's flagship store, whilst upstairs ASIC the financial markets regulator watches over the financial markets and well being of the Australian market. A must for shopping and business all in one - how terribly appropriate a marriage!

Great place to rest your tired feet, use the free wifi and choose from a vast range of surprisingly good quality food.

Lots of great shops from everyday to higher end stores should satisfy any shopaholic. Several floors of speciality stores with close access to Centrepoint and Myer it is a bit of a rabbit warren but does have pretty good signage. Just be sure which street you would like to exit to when you are finished. It also has quite a good foodcourt with lots of variety plus a number of sit down cafes and restaurants that are generally ok to good and usually reasonably priced. Smaller than other Westfield shopping centres due to space restrictions in the middle of the city, it is a good shopping destination with easy access from St James Station.

Located in the city centre. Everything from food to clothing in one place. Walkable distance to the sydney harbour.

WE had just endured a hot Saturday night so we got up early caught a train in the city (AC) and headed straight to Westfield shoping centre with plenty shop eateries and seating in between to relax and keep cool with major shop Myre & David Jones close by you can while away the time till the afternoon change arrives to cool things down.

Lots of overpriced, high end stores. Yet another building where architectural pretension has taken priority over logical user-friendly design. The centre is confusing to navigate and with all of the claustrophobic marble tiling, it feels more like the interior of a toilet than a shopping mall.

Nothing special to see. Full of expensive shops like most of this part of the city. But it's nice with some free wifi and air conditioning.

Shop selection is excellent however visiting during lunch time in summer is not recommended. It is crowded in the food hall and the heat from cooking can get uncomfortable. Great for shopping but not for eating.

It's a hard place to navigate around over the 6 or so levels.went there today and it took me 2o minutes or more to find the Bose shop.while the centre had some good shops and a good food court I have to say the Bose shop was very under whelming and the young guy that served us was hopeless and told lies.will not ever go back to that Bose shop again

We were around PItt Street Malls doing our city walk-about and also shopping when we came by this mall. Surprisingly, while most other departmental stores and shops around it were packed with last minute shoppers for Christmas, this mall was comparatively quiet and "much much less crowded". Westfield Sydney is a 6-storey shopping mall offering fashion, apparel and lifestyle shops etc, including two anchor tenants of David Jones and Myers, along with a number of restaurants, cafes and a foodcourt. It is positioned and perceived as a high-end mall. Well, there is no harm to "window shop" here and always good to see and learn about new trends, products and items from the displays. Another good thing is that Wifi is provided free. Seats are available all over and one can take a rest if tired of shopping and enjoy the aircon if the weather outside is sunny and warm. Can dropby for a walkabout and visit if around the area (or just to rest or use the Wifi) and unless you have prepared a big wallet with lots of cash and cards. If not or on budget, you can still shop, but outside it and around the place, you will find better options!

While the shopping was probably high end, the food court was a great place to visit prior to the Eye or Skywalk. They had a great spread of various food places of different ethnicity.

Irritatingly incorrect signage makes finding the men's a little confusing. The food court came in 2nd to David Jones. There are better places to shop in the area.
