Great yakuniku (Japanese bbq, grilled at your table). Get the beef tendon casserole or the bourbon glazed short rib. Delicious and unique steak tartare too - more ribbons than minced with lots of sweet sesame oil.
Highly recommended. If I lived nearby I would go here all the time - this is a slightly more upscale neighborhood restaurant. Excellent food, solid Italian wine list, friendly service and a nice laid back (read: not a scene) vibe. Tripe is a standout.

OK. You will have a good but unimpressive meal here, so why go? S'more bread pudding sums it up: sounds amazing, but quality of the key component (bread pudding) is off... WAY too dense, yet not milk chocolatey enough and overwhelming cherry notes
