Came here with Ben on a winter afternoon. I got the ho-dduk, a Korean doughnut-like pastry lightly filled with molten hot cinnamon. It's a popular winter street food, but you can (and should) get it with a scoop of ice cream.
Great little venue to see shows. Arrive early, ideally when the previous band finishes. Watched Shubh Saran Presentation perform here with Ben. $12 cover of cash or credit. Only downsides: cocktail menu is nonexistent and the beer selection is weak
Did a Cheese 101 class on my own here. Learned about cheeses, tasted some new things, and drank (a lot of) endless wine. Époisses de Bourgogne is my new favorite! Gooey and smelly, but delicious with a baguette
Really good Malaysian & French food for a great price. Ben's friends (a couple) run the place. I never order dessert, but I'm going to convince you to get the fruit tart here. Came here for late lunch w/ Shannan, Ben, Laura
Came here with the crew for the amazing Winter's Grind all-you-can-eat and drink event. Tyson (owner) is a super friendly guy and loves talking to anyone that steps in the door. Ask him what he's planning next and you'll hear something cool.
Ski and snowboard day with Carlos, Laura, Ben, and Ron. Went very late in the season, so the crowds were light. Unfortunately, the snowy/icy mix wasn't ideal. But at least it's only an hour and a half from nyc!
Monday nights, come ready to swing to some hot jazz. I hate passwords, but if you're asked, just go to the FB page of Svetlana and The Delancey Five. This bar would be exceptional if the bartenders were more skilled, but it's still a fun place.
