Came here with Ron and Laura for a long overdue catch-up. Sat at the bar and had a good chat with the owner while waiting for our table at their restaurant around the corner. Apparently we made an impression, because he said our second round was on the house! This is the kind of place that makes you daydream about running your own bar someday.

One of the more memorable meals of the year. Nothing fancy at all. Just really fantastic food. It was a bit weird to order the burger in a Pakistani place, but it's extremely good. The guy running the place is really cool too
Cool tiki bar in a neighborhood that probably would've never imagined a tiki bar 10 years ago. Good drinks and the glassware pretty nice, and is probably popular among those who instagram their drinks. They've got an oyster happy hour too.
Tiny seating area, and not very comfortable. But all that is worth it when you've got the food in front of you. Some of the best tacos I've had in NYC were right here. Extremely cheap too. Looking forward to coming back to try the other options
BRG, Ben's pick. This spot replaced Madame Geneva. The inside looks almost like a bad joke. After a few rounds, the only drink that was acceptable (and actually good) was the Mezcal Negroni. We left for another spot after a few rounds, before we ended the night on a bad drink. The Tripe & Chorizo Nachos were good though.

Make a reservation in advance. Really great for brunch, especially if you're into hearing some wonderful live music. It gets pretty loud, but hopefully you're in the mood for an upbeat atmosphere. Food is fantastic, but skip the cornbread. It's more like you get a sample of cornbread than a serving.
