Café 21 serves farm-to-table breakfast with a twist. If you’re into drinking your breakfast, there’s a variety of ginormous Bloody Marys on the menu that could be an entire meals themselves, but the omelette are where it’s at. They’re baked in cast-iron skillets and full of stuff like prosciutto, lamb, short ribs, and beet-cured salmon.
The Peanut Butter and Banana Stuffed French Toast was featured on Food Network as Bobby Flay’s pick for “the best thing he ever ate,” so it wouldn’t hurt to get an order of that as a sweet treat for the table.
Snooze is one of those cheerful eateries that inspire a smile simply by setting foot in the place. It reminded me of scenes from Scooby Doo with its green and orange color scheme (seen on pendant lights, walls and booths). Everywhere you look is embellished by prints of toy jacks!
