Great little Hong Kong style cafe (only open for breakfast and lunch). Try the chashu pork over rice, fried pork chops, or corned beef hash.

The portobello fries are a must try, and the poached egg and asparagus. Always take a few macarons to go. You won't regret it... try a rose flavored one.

Chef Josef Centeno incorporated his family’s favorite dishes to produce Bar Amá’s Tex-Mex restaurant. He’s got your favorite breakfast items with a flavor explosion. Their tortillas and salsa is made in-house and completely fresh on the daily! Popular brunch items include Migas, egg, tortilla chip, potato, and onion, as well as their Grandma’s Chorizo that comes with jack cheese and flour tortillas. Check out Bar Amá’s for your not so typical LA eatery, with a Latin flare!

Jist Café is widely known for their Chashu Hash Skillet. This pork belly dish has been apart of the Ishii family since the very beginning. It’s served with a big skillet including pork, potatoes, and boiled eggs on top. The TCHO Chocolate Chip and Banana pancakes would be a great option if you were looking for something a little sweeter. Choose to have their breakfast early or for lunch daily!

The owners have a story hitting close to the heart, but that didn’t stop this couple from continuing their work. They have the reputation of being “a home away from home,” with all the regular customers, and the family owned and operated restaurant. Everything on the menu is a hit from their WTF pancakes, to their 7 Minutes in Heaven French toast, you can’t go wrong with any of the options here.
