With 7 PokéStops reachable from within this small park and 3 gyms all less than 5 blocks away, John Jay Park is a hotspot for Yorkville PokéMasters. Since the area is residential, active lures are plentiful during the evening, almost as plentiful as Zubats. Wild Dragonites have been spotted here, catch them if you can!

More than a dozen tightly packed Pokestops on this block, and there are always several Lures in the area thanks to roving bands of twentysomething Asians. Keep one ear open - if a rare Pokemon shows up, you'll almost certainly hear someone shouting about it.

This is another no-brainer. Plus, it was recently the site of a massive Pokemon Go meet-up, where NYPD officers and Psyduck-catchers played together in relative harmony.

Caught a very elusive Pikachu at this corner. No telling if it'll still be there by the time you read this, but hey, it's worth a shot.

There are gyms, lures, and plenty of Pokemon at this park—and it gets crowded come lunchtime, so expect to see dozens of New Yorkers doing the same damn thing you are. It's also close to the Flatiron Building, where you can expect to find a lot of things to catch, too.

The city's most iconic skyscraper is home to both a gym and to well-known Pokemon like Meowth. But only you can decide whether it's worth paying the $32 fee to get a pic of a Pikachu atop the landmark.
