I took my first yoga class in years here. It was really awesome and much better than I expected. I was unexpectedly sore after. Will be back!

Took a meditation class here. I loved everything about this class! It was held in the instructor's apartment and was very calming and intimate. She has a puppy that kept crawling on my lap during meditation which made me really happy. I'll be back here!

I found this gym on Instagram and decided I needed to try it out. It's nearly impossible to get a spot in the boxing classes unless you're ready to go right when the classes are released, but it's well worth it to try. Tatiana kicked my ass!

This is the 'yin' to my Hip Hop yoga 'yang.' Every Saturday at 12:30, Michelle teaches a hatha-kundalini class that leaves you with a clear mind and graceful energy. Her class is the highlight of my weekend, I feel like I finally "get" yoga based on her classes. Highly recommend.

So, by the end of class, I was asking myself, "Why have I not Warrior 1'd to 'Hotline Bling' before?" If you hate yoga, this class will make it hard for you not to love it.

Home to sweat-dripping, beat-bumping, candlelit Hip Hop yoga. The room is warm, but not too hot; the instructors are challenging, but not too rigorous; the music is loud, but not deafening. The Y7 version of a Vinyasa class features a novel (at least to me) "flow on your own" section, which is equal parts terrifying and freeing.

This LA export provides a one-hour action packed workout combining half treadmill running and half floor exercise with variations between classes. You will never have the same workout! Walking into the studio, you leave the stresses of the day behind and enter a new realm with club lights and a jammin' stereo system. The music is always on point and a great supplement to the workout.

Brooklyn Bodyburn is the workout we all love to hate. Vanessa Hudgens has been spotted sweating here. It doesn’t matter how many times you go, it’s always insanely hard (in a really good way). You will sweat, you might cry or curse a little, you will definitely learn new things about your body. You will want to come back.

Uplift is a FEMALE only!! studio. Yes, I really like that choice (bye bye men who disgustingly grunt through an entire 60 minute bootcamp class). Their classes are tough, effective, and fun. They have showers and are heavily stocked with lots of beauty products including the cult favorite Malin + Goetz.
