Sometimes it seems like the same group of restaurants get all the love. Well, that ends today. If you delve a little deeper into the food scene in Islington, you’re bound to unearth plenty of hidden hot spots.
Veggie All American was disappointing. The 'sausage' is made from cornbread (weird) & the pancakes were dry, hard & overdone. The Pommy Granny smoothie tasted strange. Overall, not worth the dosh IMHO -- Hannah F. via Foursquare
Sometimes, less is more, an unpretentious menu with a few twist. The otoro nigiri & uni gunkan were amazing, the rice was at the proper temp, size and seasoning, they were simple, perfect and fast. -- Susherito San via Foursquare
Vietnamese Restaurant in Islington, United Kingdom
Delicious, truly authentic Vietnamese food. If you've never had pho, keep in mind that a portion is huge - with a lot of soup. If you want something less adventurous, go for the rice or noodle dishes. -- Ankur Banerjee via Foursquare
