Pot roast used to be the best anywhere, however the last few times it has been all gristle. The restaurant does nothing to remedy this so I'm done eating gristle at Summer Kitchen. -- Kristi Hultin-McKenna via Foursquare

The original La Mesa moved here from their location further north on Fort Crook. Try the cheese dip! Or all-you-can-eat tacos on Monday. -- Nick via Foursquare

Chicken with Hot Garlic Sauce and Yam Yam Chicken are both great. This place used to be an Amigos Mexican Fast Food back in the 80s. -- Chad via Foursquare

Under new ownership since Spring of 2015. Burnt Ends, Chicken, and Ribs are all superb. Burnt Ends only available on Fridays and Saturdays and sell out early. Popular with the military lunch crowd. -- Chad via Foursquare
