A great little eatery serving Tapas style Thai food with some interesting twists. Tom Yum glazed ribs, Hung Lae terrines - this is a great way to start your night before heading out to the many trendy bars in the area. Speaking of which, Ashley Sutton Engineers is right next door and the perfect bar to head to next.

The best view of Bangkok lights at night. Head to the Banyan Tree hotel and make your way to one of the highest roof top bars in Bangkok. This place is a must-do. Nahm restaurant is right next door at the Metropolitan Hotel.

Michelin starred chef and Thai food guru, David Thompson's, award winning Thai restaurant at the Metropolitan Hotel. Traditional Thai with everything made in-house. Expensive but if you want to see what the fuss is about you better book. The Banyan Tree hotel, home to Moon Bar, is right next door so head there after dinner - or before - for amazing views from the 70th floor.

A team of talented chefs doing innovative twists on contemporary Thai food. The head chef has worked in Michelin starred restaurants in the USA. This place is easy to get to, take the BTS to Chong Nonsi station and it's just a few steps to Le Du. The restaurant is 30 meters down a side street right below the station.

Forget the VEGAN part, unless that's your thing. Pure Luck Kombucha brewery is in a beautifully restored shop house with cool green walls and chilled vibe. Lots of kombucha tea to choose from and it looks like the do vegan food too now

Great Thai food using traditional recipes set in an old Jam Factory Getting here is easy: make your way to the Sheraton Royal Orchid, facing the front, turn right and walk towards River City. As you come into the River City drop off zone, turn left and walk to the PUBLIC ferry that crosses the river. Pay 3 baht, cross the river. Exit the ferry and turn immediately right, walk along the river and enter the big gate at the end of the walk way. Turn left and walk over the decking and your'e there.

A funky bar in the trendy Soi Nana area of Chinatown (not soi nana the sleazy area on Sukhumvit). This bar is big on Gin. Hip and Happening there's plenty in this neighbourhood to make the trip worth while.

Underneath the Novotel Silom, this cool bar is full of theatre and great music and drinks. Themed around a 1930s speakeasy in Shanghai bank vault - you will be blown away.
